Arbitron Survey: For the past 5 out of 5 Arbitron Surveys, Power 99 has been ranked the #1 station 18-34 Marketing Area: WUSL-FM has been broadcasting since October 1982 and reaches over 680,000 listeners per week, Monday-Sunday 6:00am-midnight. Our signal is heard in Trenton, New Jersey, Allentown, Reading, Pleasantville and up to Lancaster, Pennsylvania; most of Delaware and 31 miles South of Elkton, Maryland. Position Statement: Bangin’ Hip Hop and R & B Power 99FM has been recognized locally and nationally for our community service: from our ongoing “Stop the Violence Increase the Peace” campaign….. To our status as the only radio station to receive the Presidential Award for Private Sector Initiatives for our War on Drugs program………to our acceptance of the 1992, 1996, 1998, 2001 and 2006 NAB Crystal Awards, one of only ten awarded annually. WUSL/Power 99FM is an integral part of the lives of Delaware Valley’s listeners. We are on the streets and in the neighborhoods involved in a variety of community affairs campaigns; we have installed POWERHOUSE Computer Learning Centers in three middle schools in the tri-state area. T-ROY has been a radio personality on 93.3 the Beat since 1999. Although he is based locally here in Jacksonville, T-Roy’s show is syndicated in markets throughout the United States including Philadelphia, Memphis, and Savannah. Listeners look forward to his daily dose of music and humor. He engages his audience with features such as “I’ve Been Thinking” and “Question of the Day”. T-Roy receives over 1,000 weekly calls during which he interacts with listeners. When he is off air, T-Roy enjoys fishing, white water rafting, and skydiving. He also spends time volunteering at local schools and community organizations as well as hosting entertainment events. T-Roy has been recognized as “Best Radio Personality” by Ozone Magazine and “Favorite Radio DJ” by Duval Diamond Awards.
