Radio One Chicago has been on the airways for close to 25 years on 88.7FM WLUW at Loyola University. Radio One Chicago has relied on many amazing hosts throughout the years. Each host has brought their own style to help enhance the show. We have always strived to bring diversity to the forefront of Chicago, not only through its arts but its people. Radio One Chicago is #AllChicagoEverything, and we mean it! We’re a group of music-lovers dedicated to promoting exceptional local talent, from artists, musicians, and change-makers. We like to think that we have had a huge influence on promoting up-and-coming Chicago artists. We are often the first interview for many artists. We take pride in giving people a chance to present their art through our radio show, social media, and website. With the onset of the pandemic, we found it difficult to run our show the way we wanted to. After a long time of deciding what to do, we have pivoted to present to you a monthly magazine.
