by HeiQ. At low temperatures, the unique polymer binds moisture in its structure keeping you feeling warm and dry.

As your temperature increases it changes its properties, releasing the stored moisture to the surface where it evaporates and cools your skin. Recent testing at RMIT University in Melbourne has shown that wearing SKINS treated with ADAPTIVE by HeiQ can keep you cooler than not wearing anything at all.

PRECISION Fit SKINS don’t believe in ‘one size fits all’. If compression is too tight, it can restrict blood flow and if it’s too loose, then there’s not much point wearing it. That’s why we take the sizing and fit of our garments seriously.

Each product has a specific size chart, taking into account height and weight, to help you choose the right size garment.

400 Series: We took 3D full body scans of hundreds of amateur and professional athletes of all shapes and sizes.

Warp Knit Technology The fabric in SKINS is warp knitted using multiple fine quality yarns for added strength. Our warp knit fabric has been developed to include our own Elastane mix so it delivers specific levels of elasticity and perfectly controlled compression, guaranteeing your SKINS return to their original tension and shape. The warp knit structure is also highly durable.

Focused Compression and Muscle Support SKINS are designed to wrap and support key muscle groups with panels positioned to follow your natural muscle and tendon structure. The seams are biomechanically placed to act as anchor points, offering focused support and stability to major muscle groups, promoting a heightened sense of proprioception (spacial awareness, in case you were wondering). The wrapping effect and specific compression help to reduce soft tissue damage and muscle soreness.

FREEDOM OF MOVEMENT SKINS A400 garments use a low denier Memory MX fabric around the knees on long tights and around the obliques, down the spine and in the lower back on tops.

This medically applicable, elastomeric yarn provides consistent compression but also supports the body’s natural movements with perfect stretch and recovery to allow complete freedom of movement.

Injury PreventioN If your sport includes running or jumping, and let’s face it, there’s not too many sports that don’t, then you could be at risk of Iliotibial Band (ITB), Tensor Fascia Latae (TFL) and calf muscle injuries. In SKINS A400, high denier, Memory MX panels reduce pressure on the ITB and TFL muscle groups to ensure their natural function without any unnecessary force. A split seam on the lateral and medial gastrocnemius calf muscles helps to reduce localised fatigue and limit the risk of injury.

the concept Imposing and impressive. The breath-taking Gotthard region is the most important mountain pass connecting the Northern and Southern Alps. Especially interesting and stunning is the old road in Val Tremola on the south side of the Gotthard, which is also the longest road construction memorial in Switzerland. The narrow serpentines of the Via Tremola wind from Airolo over the bumpy cobbles and steeply rise up to the Gotthard summit. Challenging and overcoming the historical roads of the mountain pass is the dream of any passionate cyclist and was the inspiration for the development of the new SKINS cycle range.
