Mag:net:work is a design proposal of interconnecting architecture covering 4 hectares of land. The proposal looks to transform Dundee’s Seabraes Yard into an innovative public redevelopment space. In association with Dundee Waterfront, Mag:net:work embodies the methods of creative placemaking. This suggested a ‘work live play’ concept between suburban and interurban city space. The site will attract creative industries and visitors to experience Dundee’s Unesco City of Design ethos. Once an old shipping yard, this connection with the Tay creates a sense of place through a wave of creativity.
