This project aims to map the findings of the survey completed for the University of Georgia’s Campus Preservation Plan. The plan, expected to be completed in 2016, includes campus resources from across the state over 40 years of age. Part I of the plan included survey of all resources, completed by the FindIt program at the university’s Center for Community Design and Preservation. Survey findings along with archival research will be used to generate the preservation plan. Survey included over 850 buildings, spread across 22 counties. A master list of buildings was used to determine eligibility of survey based on age. Information gathered included GPS location, address, building type, materials, features, building characteristics, context and surroundings, as well as roof materials and window types. In addition, an as-

sessment of the building’s eligibility for the National/ Georgia register was conducted. A rating was given to each building determining whether it appeared to meet criteria, appeared not to meet criteria, or may meet criteria. Currently, 17 buildings are listed in the registers, including 7 individually listed buildings and the Old North Campus Historic District. In addition, portions of the UGA Health Sciences campus are included in the Oglethorpe Avenue Historic District.
