Modern Romantic
The Modern Romantic trend blends old and new, borrowing silhouettes from multiple centuries, as well as fabrics, colors, and prints. Modern Romantic reinstates the idealism of romanticization and softness; this can be seen in floral, pastels, lace, and bows. However, it also cuts the weight of bulky skirts and long hemlines, including crops and minis. Modern Romantic trends are newer this year and most likely will linger over intoA/W 24. It can be incorporated into casual outfits, while also being the focal point of a look in its entirety. Women are mostly seen embracing the Modern Romantic look, but men participate as well, with fabric colors and shapes. There is an innocent look associated with this outfit, being seen as girlish, but this juxtaposes with the sheer fabrics and laces along with short hemlines,, blending cute and sexy. Although this trend will bleed into the next year, it is more along the lines of a micro trend, due to its unique factors.

Knee Boot
Knee high boots are a classic, macro trend. Knee boots are typical inA/W but are making their way into the S/S collections. Just like their length, this boots are on the rise, being seen in casual, professional, and street style wear and outfits. Knee boots had another high point in the mid 2010s, including the even taller over the knee boots. All genders and ages are seen wearing these boots for practical or stylistic reasons. Classic styles of brown or black, along with printed and accessorised boots can make any outfit.

Peplum
Another trend that is on the rise from the 2010s is Peplum. Peplum tops were embraced, then outlawed, then embraced again by the fashionistas. This gives a hint that this style top is indeed a micro trend that will soon faze out. While it's here, we see it in casual and professional styles, mostly in women's wear. This mixture between for fitting and baggy marries the last two big silhouette trends. It can also be seen as the next step after longer, uncropped tops were see again.

Grey on Grey
Grey is a popular color way consuming entire outfits. This grey on grey trend is a monochromatic look here to stay. Monochromatic outfits are a simple, yet effective way to make any outfit look put together and stylish. Adding different shades or textures of fabrics can help create a balanced, more interesting look. Grey has been a staple color for monochromatic looks. It is versatile enough any gender and age, while keeping it playful enough to beat out stark competitors like white and black. Grew had been on the rise in recent years and will only increase in popularity.

Fabric Manipulation
You are the only thing being manipulated this summer…fabric manipulation is on the rise in new S/S collections. Fabric manipulations is seen as draping, rushing, or pleating, essentially andy movement done to simple fabrics to give character without a need for patterns or textures. Fabric manipulation has always been in the fashion scene, it only how it’s manipulated that fluctuates in and out of season. Rushing is a current popular way to make a fabric more interesting, along with bundling to make floral like shapes. These shapes can enhance the silhouettes by creating illusions or hiding parts of the body that people may not want on display. Because this trend is so diverse, fabric manipulation will stay on trend but the rosettes and rushes may not, making it a macro and micro trend.
