Part-Time MBA Program BUSINESS EDUCATION REIMAGINED.

Prepare for the future of business The skills necessary to be a business leader in a digital-first economy are different from those that led to success in the past. You need an education that arms you with powerful tools for approaching new data-driven challenges, inspires you to be more creative, and helps you spot unexpected opportunities so that you can be resilient and innovate with confidence. As an ambitious professional preparing to lead in the workplace of the future, you’re the inspiration for our Part-Time MBA program at Northeastern University’s D’Amore-McKim School of Business. Rise to the top of your current field or switch your focus to a new area of business. Acquire the digital skills and entrepreneurial mindset that will set you apart as technology and global economic disruption change how we live and work. Gain relevant and authentic experience that will transform your worldview (it’s what we do best at Northeastern). And balance all of that with everything going on in your life.

The workload is rigorous, but enriching. You’ll conquer new challenges. If I could use one word to describe the Part-Time MBA experience, it would be ‘transformative.’” Dana Charles, MBA’19

At the same time, we know you have important work and life responsibilities that have become even more challenging in the midst of global disruption. That’s why we built the flexible Part-Time MBA curriculum—so you can develop the skills you need at the pace that works for you. • Choose to start in January or September • Vary your workload and schedule by semester • Complete up to five courses fully online at your own pace each week Even with our flexible options, the Part-Time MBA learning experience is academically rigorous. You’ll personalize your curriculum by selecting one or two concentrations and have plenty of opportunities to engage in the experience-powered learning that defines a Northeastern education. You’ll enjoy energetic interaction with your classmates thanks to our emphasis on applied group projects and learn from faculty who are world-class innovators and entrepreneurs.

Academics have always worked best for me when I can apply what I learn immediately. The day after a class, I can almost always apply what I’ve learned to something I’m doing at work. Chris Moore, MBA’21

There’s Power in Experience If you know Northeastern, you know we’re 100 percent dedicated to integrating academic research with real-world experience. It’s at the heart of everything we do. That’s because experience fuels learning in a way that simply can’t be matched by classroom learning alone. As a Part-Time MBA student, you can . . . MANAGE THE 360 HUNTINGTON FUND Apply for a position on the student management team of the 360 Huntington Fund, a $1M mutual fund in Northeastern University’s endowment. This experience offers a rare opportunity to make real decisions affecting the success of a real fund. Guided by a faculty member, you’ll work with a team of peers as you research and analyze opportunities and risks, pitch investment options, and vote on stock choices. As you gain valuable experience working with the fund, you can grow your role and responsibilities while earning one elective credit per semester. COLLABORATE WITH THE IDEA VENTURE ACCELERATOR Excited by the idea of developing a business from concept to launch? IDEA, Northeastern’s venture accelerator, offers support and opportunities for experience-driven learning to help those with big ideas get them off the ground. With 63 projects launched and 300+ more in the pipeline, IDEA produces successful businesses that solve real problems and make a significant impact. You’ll have access to all the benefits IDEA offers, including coaching and mentoring, workshops and events, and the ability to apply for prototype and gap funding. You can also serve as a mentor for new ventures yourself—your expertise in marketing, finance, or accounting, for example, can make a real difference for a startup preparing to launch. STUDY ABROAD THROUGH THE INTERNATIONAL FIELD STUDY What better way to adopt a global business perspective than to experience it for yourself? Our intensive International Field Study elective course offers you the chance to travel abroad for up to 10 days to one of several countries to learn about global challenges and opportunities—directly from those who are driving change and growth. By participating in this opportunity, you’ll earn three elective credits. BUILD ON YOUR BUSINESS KNOWLEDGE IN WASHINGTON, D.C. If you’re interested in the intersection of business and government, don’t miss our intensive residency program in Washington, D.C., which offers a fun and informative way to take one full elective course in a single week. You’ll network with current and former government officials and students from other prestigious MBA programs—all while learning how policy affects different industries and economies. By participating in this opportunity, you’ll earn three elective credits.

I’m really excited that I was able to work with both international and American students. I learned more about different countries and their approaches to business and solving problems. It was very helpful to understand how people across the world think about business.” Tatiana Lialina, MBA’19
