“UnKosBunita” translates to “A Beautiful Thing”—a name that embodies the essence of this branch of my art. It is where my passion for creation extends beyond traditional mediums and into wearable forms. A space where jewelry is not just an accessory, but an extension of my artistic journey.
UnKosBunita is still unfolding, just as am still learning, experimenting, and discovering what it means to craft something truly meaningful. My journey into jewelry-making began with a deep desire—not just to create adornments, but to one day craft my own sacred heirlooms.
Jewelry, much like art, has long been woven into rites of passage, devotion, and unbreakable bonds. am drawn to the idea of making pieces that are not just worn, but carry the weight of connection—symbols of unity, love, and lifelong commitment. Rings that seal unspoken vows, talismans that mark a shared path, adornments that hold meaning beyond their form.
For now, I am still in the process of understanding the craft, refining my skills, and exploring what is possible. Through this process, UnKosBunita has emerged as my way of sharing that journey—offering pieces that reflect both my growth and my vision.
And so, from this evolving path, I present the first collection under UnKosBunita—Siren’s Kiss. A collection inspired by the unexpected beauty found in the depths of the sea and the solidity of the earth. Here, abalone shell and silver come together as if forged by waves, smoothed by sand, and left upon the shore, waiting to be discovered.

A Story Woven in Silver and Sea
Every piece tells a story—shimmering like the waves, shifting like the tides.
This collection began as a simple act of curiosity. While searching for materials to experiment with, stumbled upon a strange shell had never seen before. Its outer layer was rough, unpolished—almost unappealing. But something about it made me stop. When I turned it over, I found an iridescent world hidden inside—shifting blues, greens, purples, and golds, like the ocean captured in a single piece of light.
Intrigued, I bought a shell to see what I could create from it. The moment I cut into it on the wheel, the colors seemed to awaken—revealing something mesmerizing that had been hidden beneath the surface all along. That was the beginning of Siren’s Kiss—a collection that embraces the beauty of what is overlooked, the treasures waiting to be revealed.

Bunita di Laman i Tera –Beautiful Things of the Earth and Sea
UnKosBunita is an ongoing experiment—an exploration of materials and how they come together to create something greater than the sum of their parts.
For this first collection, present Kos Bunita di Laman i Tera—Beautiful Things of the Earth and Sea.
By combining abalone shell, representing the sea, with silver, representing the earth, I have crafted pendants, earrings, and bracelets that echo the connection between land and water. also experimented with freshwater pearls, adding another element of fluidity— soft, luminous, and reminiscent of ocean mist.
These pieces are meant to entice the wearer, to give them a tangible connection to the sea. The colors of the abalone shell evoke the familiar hues of the Caribbean waters, stirring up a sense of nostalgia and belonging. To wear one is to carry a piece of the ocean’s essence wherever you go.
The Ocean’s Canvas –Abalone Shell
No two abalone shells are the same.
Swirls of deep blues, greens, and fiery violets dance across its surface—like the Caribbean Sea at dawn, dusk, and everything in between.
This natural material has been revered across cultures, known for its connection to the ocean, intuition, and transformation. Abalone is a reminder that true beauty is unpredictable, shifting, and ever-changing, just like the tides. Hold it up to the light, and you might see the same glimmers that once reflected off the waves at sunset.
For those who have walked along the shores of Curaçao, Aruba, or Bonaire, the hues feel familiar— like the sea cradled in silver, always within reach.
To wear abalone is to carry a piece of that
memory—an echo of the ocean, a reminder of its timeless beauty. Silver is the quiet contrast—the element that frames the ocean’s colors, giving them space to shine.
Soft yet strong, it has been shaped by hands and history, worn by wanderers, artists, and storytellers alike. It patinas with time, much like seashells smoothened by the tide—becoming richer with each moment it is worn.
In this collection, silver is not just a setting—it is part of the story. Some pieces are elegantly crafted and refined, while others are rough, raw, and full of textures—as if shaped by the sea itself. Here, I explore different techniques, imagining that the ocean’s force has folded the silver and abalone together, forging these beautiful relics.
Each piece feels as if it was smoothed by the sandy beaches and then picked up from the shore on a walk along the coastline—a fragment of something ancient, rediscovered.
