IMPLANTOLOGY - IMPLANT SIMULATOR the way to learn implantology without hearting a patient
9 - 11 May 2014; 3 days course course held by Dr. Med. Dent. Octavian Fagaras; Specialist in Implantology, Diplomate Status ICOI; DGOI certified Expert in Implantology ; Certified Trainer of the International Training Center For Dental Implantology (IFZI)
Both modules (theory&hands-on): 8 places available (minimum 4); Course language: either Romanian, English, German or Italian Topics approached during the course s Surgical principles and techniques in oral implantology s Implant insertion in maxillary and mandible s Augmentation techniques (sinus lift, transplant, bone spreading, etc.) s Implant prosthetics s Piezosurgery (the most modern surgery technique, totally non-traumatic) s Radiology in implantology During the course, the practice for implants' insertion training is done on phantoms. The course is open to all dentists and is ensuring the participants' knowledge of those factors which can lead to a successful implantation. After the graduation of all course modules, the participants can already execute implantology therapy plans, implant prosthetics plans and can practice implantology on patient with an already formed and safe manuallity. The course programme contains s The introduction on phantom navigation s Incision and suture techniques s Implant insertion in mandible (trainee practice on phantom) s Implant insertion in maxillary (trainee practice on phantom) s Gingival management demonstration s Video demonstration / Live surgery on patient – Dr. Octavian Fagaras s Sinus lift theory s Sinus lift - live or video demonstration s Sinus lift (trainee practice on phantom) s Implant prosthetics theory s Impression techniques The participation fee for a 3 days course (min 4 attendants) are: s For groups of 4 persons – 1100 Euro/person s For groups of 5-8 persons – 1000 Euro/person No EMC points are awarded. The course will be held at Quintessence Romania HQ, 62, Soseaua Nordului, ground-floor, sector 1 (Herastrau Park residential area).
