Season Recap With a good mix of youth and veterans, the Queen’s Gaels swim team put together a solid season in 2009-10. The team opened up with a 12 medal performance at the Trent Invitational before successfully hosting the Queen’s Quad meet where they earned an additional five medals. At the OUA Championships in St. Catharines, the Gaels had five Top 10 performances, led by a seventh place finish from Julian Chang, who qualified for the CIS Championships in the process. Margo Bacher, a rookie on this year’s team, swam to a ninth place finish, winning the ‘B’ Final in the Women’s 100m Breaststroke.
