Available for most cruising boats, EcoSeries cruising sails are manufactured from diverted trash and plastic, recycled fibers, and use lamination processes that are kinder to the environment. At Quantum, we believe that true sustainability comes from changing how we do things. Using recycled materials and improving how we run our facilities is the only path forward. Quantum has long been a champion for reducing our footprint and protecting our environment. Our production facility has been ISO 14001:2015 certified for Environmental Management Standards since 2011, we use recycled material in our packaging, and we’ve worked to eliminate production waste. We have also worked for years with companies who repurpose our old and extra sails, keeping them out of landfills. In addition to our new EcoSeries sail line, this year, we’re taking our commitment even further with more recycled materials in our production chain and assessing ways for our lofts to reduce their energy consumption and waste through recycling programs, making energy-efficient equipment swaps, and supporting green initiatives at local events. We remain committed to continually developing and improving these efforts for a more sustainable future.
