The Domaine Galtier is 15km north of Béziers. The building is in the typical Languedoc style with a square tower and is surrounded by Mediterranean vegetation. 80% of the estate is planted with AOC Coteaux du Languedoc wines. Since 2005, the estate has been working to “Terra Vitis” specifications that define the conditions of rational farming. The Cuvée Tradition wines are matured in vats and the Kermès wines in barrels. The estate also produces a Languedoc liqueur wine: Cartagène du Languedoc. [ Wines from €3 to €15 the bottle. June to September: open Monday to Saturday 10.00am/12.00 - 3.00pm/7.00pm. Le Domaine Galtier est un mas typiquement languedocien situé au milieu d’une végétation méditerranéenne. 80% du domaine est classé en A.O.C. Coteaux du Languedoc. Depuis 2005, le domaine est en agriculture raisonnée dans la charte “Terra Vitis” avec qualification. Le domaine élabore trois cuvées en AOC Coteaux du Languedoc : Tradition en rouge,rosé et blanc, Kermès et Ostréa (un rouge et un blanc élevés en barrique) et La Solana en terroir Saint-Chinian.
