ALPHA TEST

CITIZEN CONFLICT

Our MMO Shooter Citizen Conflict was presented to the public for the first time. From 22nd December 2022 until 15th January 2023, we have been running the alpha test. The game reaped positive feedback from the community and earned noticeable recognition in the media. Besides frequent Twitch streams, we have also been running warm-up Citizen Conflict competitions to uphold the competitive nature of the gameplay right from the beginning - we have allocated initial prize pools for the winners of each stream to prepare the community for upcoming tournaments. This time, the campaign was titled Beat the CMO, and we rewarded the Citizen Conflict players who won over our head of marketing in the stream sessions.

REVAMPED CHARACTERS

The Citizen Conflict development is always on the move. Besides perfecting the gameplay, we are always eager to modernize and revamp the game design. Starting this January, we are presenting new, revamped Citizen Conflict characters to the public. While female heroes were not featured in the Alpha Test, we emphasized our female characters in the ongoing public presentation. Our game designers have given them new, fresh looks - according to social media feedback, the community loved it.

ALPHA WARS

A STORYTELLING & SOCIAL MEDIA CAMPAIGN WITH PRIZES

To promote the Alpha Test, we accompanied the Citizen Conflict with creative campaigns. Over the last month, we have been running an Alpha Wars to integrate audiences from all our digital channels and turn the following into leads. Each week we have published stories of two characters featured in Alpha Test on our blog. Afterward, we let our followers vote in the social media poll to decide the fate of the characters - based on the results, we expanded the storyline and moved to another round. We crowned the campaign with the fan-favorite ‘Alpha King,’ and to attract our audience, we gave away 4 Billy the Bully NFTs during the campaign. We moved on with another such activity seeing the great engagement in Alpha Wars.

A Brand New Open-World MMO RPG

Besides Citizen Conflict, we have started developing another AAA game title. AniMate is an open-world MMO RPG experience. AniMate connects adventure with role-playing and bridges traditional Battle Royale with the mythical open world of AniMate Island. AniMates revolutionize the cute, though ominous monsters we know and love. AniMate perfectly blends the action of Fortnite and the strategy of Pokemon. The game bears in mind the rise of mobile device users. For that matter, AniMate can be played in two major modesWild and Harmony. The first one is focused on desktop PCs, while another one conforms to the needs of phones and tablets.

EXPLORING OUTERLANDS

A STORYTIME IN THE DISTRICT 10 WHITELISTS PLAYERS FOR ALPHA 2.0

The Citizen Conflict Alpha Test was huge, and we’re already looking forward to another round. This time, players won’t get Alpha Key to gain access, we will whitelist Alpha 2.0 participants instead. To engage our fanbase, we reserved several VIP spots on the whitelist for the community. To win the spot, we ran another set of blog stories based in the Outerlands, the Alpha Test district. At the end of each week, we put the knowledge of our followers to the test in a social media poll. 3 participants who commented on the correct answer were subsequently given a VIP spot on the Alpha 2.0 whitelist.

LURKIT CONTENT COMPETITION

$1000 AND 10X NFTS FOR THE BEST ENTRIES

We have several competitions running right now. The most ambitious of them all is our fan content driven campaign. The aim is to engage the community and showcase the Citizen Conflict gameplay to as many as possible. We prompted Citizen Conflict Alpha Test players to be creative and shoot a short gameplay video. We rewarded the best entry with $1000, while 10 other outstanding gameplay videos earned Billy the Bully NFT to the creator’s pocket. The campaign was running on Lurkit throughout the whole Alpha Test period, and it turned out to be a great way to build ties with the existing fanbase while reaching out to new followers.

It’s always that busy hum in our studio. Our teams are always ready to aim at new horizons in gamedev, to bring the best gaming experience possible. And we can’t do that alone. At QORPO Game Studio, we are still looking for new talents to join us on our mission. This month we are happy to introduce our colleagues from the art & design department.

Lukáš Klinec - Meet Our Sound Designer! He is a jack of all trades and our one&only sound designer. From his music production to in-game sound engineering, Lukáš is also eager to explore the possibilities AI brings to art creation.

Samuel Gallo - Meet Our Lead Game Designer. Lukáš has been with us since the start of TRM2 era, with game design and UX as his main responsibility. Now, his primary focus is on Citizen Conflict, more precisely, Game Design, Level Design, and UX.

Bárbara Montesano - Meet Our Concept Artist. Bárbara has 7 years of illustrator experience, and throughout her career, she was collaborating on the visual side of different projects, music albums, video clips, concept art, and editorial pieces.

BEAT THE CMO

Our CMO David Achberger is not only a smart marketer, but he’s also a diehard gamer. To warm up our community for future Citizen Conflict tournaments, we encouraged players to join the Alpha Test streams and challenge our CMO. The winners were given prizes varying from $30 to $50. We are so thrilled to see the incredible support for our MMO shooter, Citizen Conflict. The feedback was great.

Our cooperation with The Mag brings another part. After delving into professional esports with Forsyy, we took a close look at the crypto. Money 3.0 is our new project which popularizes modern ways of making money in the world of web3 and blockchain technologies.

DISTRICT 10 TO DISTRICT 7

Citizen Conflict consists of 10 combat districts, while each offers a different and unique experience. From diverse environments to different population groups, objects, and economies, every district of Ether Islands is a whole new experience. Citizen Conflict Alpha was based in the Outerlands; however, our game designers and concept artists have already modeled three more districts - Vaporwaves, Whaleland, and South Moon.
