INTRODUCTION

My name is Quentin Eddings. I am a graduate of Normandy High School and soon to be graduate of the University of Missouri - Columbia Architectural studies program. For the past years of undergraduate I have adpoted a “ Form and function are one , this qoute was made famous by Architect Frank Lloyd Wright, which is great for modern/contemporary styles. Thid style helps me to create forms that impact the people that use them. Also I design in the sustainable style as I think this style impacts the people that use the buildings I design. This portfolio showcases my work and growing abilities

Jefferson middle school renovation

TASK: Present design solution to an building built in 1938, that is in need for an acessibilty update. With the renovation of the building’s assibility I decide to add elevators in the original portion of the building built over 90 years ago. The school also needed an new gym in which my design added the gym to change the schools overal traffic flow from a ‘ U “ shape to a circular shpe with a gym addition in the middle with a skywalk linking the elevator and other building levels together.
