QAAMS Leaders Team Leaders Team Meeting On Tuesday 25 September, the QAAMS Leaders met with members of the QAAMS Management Team. Topics discussed at the meeting included planning for the 2019 Workshop and the production of a diabetes record book for clients, a new project for the Leaders Team. The meeting was very productive and the QAAMS Management Team would like to thank all the Leaders for travelling to Perth to attend the meeting and for their participation and enthusiasm on the day.
Retirement of Trevor Garlett We are very sad to inform you of the recent resignation from the QAAMS Leaders Team of WA Leader, Trevor Garlett. Trevor was the WA Leader from 2010 – 2011, before he stepped down as he took on a new role in his working life. We welcomed him back to the QAAMS Leaders Team in 2012, when he returned to Wheatbelt Aboriginal Health Service and he has filled the role of QAAMS WA Leader since then. Trevor has attended many Leaders Team meetings and QAAMS Workshops during his time as WA Leader. He will be greatly missed by all current Leaders and members of the Management Team, as well as our participants in WA. We would all like to say a big thank you to Trevor for his contribution and participation over many years and wish him all the best in his new role in Perth!
