CLUB RENOVATION UPDATES
We’re making great strides on the new Sports and Surf Clubs. May was a busy and productive month, with visible progress that reflects all the hard work happening behind the scenes. We know our members are eager to see these new spaces take shape, and we're happy to report that everything is moving forward on schedule.
Here’s a quick look at what’s been happening and what’s coming next:
SPORTS CLUB
In May, the major structural pieces and exterior panels were completed, giving the building its shape. Work on the floors in the parking garage is ongoing and will continue through June. At the same time, crews have started installing essential systems like plumbing, electrical, and ventilation. Up on the roof, the main framework is being installed, and waterproofing will begin in June to protect the building from the elements. Inside, progress continues with walls and utilities taking shape in the locker rooms. Next up: similar work will begin in the cardio and group fitness areas.
SURF CLUB
The foundation for the Surf Club is underway! In May, crews wrapped up work on the deep supports that help anchor the building. Foundation work is still in progress and will be followed by pouring of the basement floor slab in June. Once that’s finished, we’ll be ready to start building upward this summer—an exciting next step in bringing this new facility to life.
