Dine in, take out or delivery 1492 is another laid back social spot.

Good for a date or family setting good food on the menu, my favorite is the steak nachos which are a 8 out of 10 hands down. Located in “Midtown” with seating at the bar, I like the place cause of the vibes and meeting new people. Laughter and great conversation, you never know who you may run into. The bar tending services are nice, they offer happy hour specials with a nice variety of different drinks on menu. For the wine drinkers they got you.

Tell them “Put It In Tha Air Magazine” sent you. With friendly and positive service and good food I have to give this place a 8 out of 10. Go check out sometime.

One of the top spots to enjoy yourself we will start at Good Times on N. Western. It’s a very laid back atmosphere, friendly workers, fast service and some of the best food I’ve tasted. 420 friendly with a back side patio with games, fire pit and music. Just based off my experience I would have to rate this place 4.8 out of 5 for quick service, I think a bigger location would take this place to a different level.

This young lady right here. The first time I had a chance to see her perform was at Pour Liquor Lounge in downtown Oklahoma City. When i say electrifying, i mean electrifying. Whether its a couple songs or a 40 minute set, she definitely knows how to control the crowd and entertain. Born in Oklahoma City, raised in Atlanta, Soul NB has blessed stages all over the country on her run to success. Her itinerary is

always full of shows all over the country where she sets the crowd on fire. Word is with her growing up in Atlanta, the culture influenced her style of music and song writing. She credits people such as Da Brat, Chris Brown, and Young Thug for inspiring her with her craft. Yes i did say singer and song writer. Yukmouth and Numskull are known mostly for their hit “I Got 5 On It,” will be performing hit records off their group and individual projects. The California group will be in Oklahoma in full support of the Oklahoma Cannabis Awards Music Festival in Oklahoma City.

If you ever were a fan of the Texas movement, there is no question you remember “ ,” this guy is. Known for multiple chart topping hits such as Cuddy Buddy, Back Then, Still Tippin, and many other hits in the early 2000s. ? MIKE JONES!!!!!!! This line became so popular with the inclusion of his phone number “281-330-8004!!! Those were some good times. September 9th, 2022 he will be live in concert in Oklahoma city. The Official Oklahoma Cannabis Awards Musical Festival will be where his next big show will be LIVE!!!! The event will take place at the Farmers Market in Oklahoma City on September 9th, 2022 from 4pm - 12am.

These interesting creatures can easily be mistaken for plants, but fact is they are not plants at all. They are called “Anemones,” which are close relatives to jellyfish, corals, and also another kind of the same family called tube anemones. The facility was no where near as big as i expected, but definitely filled with wonder.

Often i would walk past a display and take minutes to find the wonders behind the glass. I have heard so many things about this place i had to take a look for myself. For this to be my first aquarium experience, i had a good time and also did some learning in the process. Next to each exhibit would be a small history lesson or interesting information about whatever it displayed. I went in the daytime and there were children all over the place. Seeing the looks on their faces as they seen things they only got to view in books was a joy for me. Like this creature in the photo the right. These giant fresh water prawns belong to the genus Macro-brachium which means “big arm.” Males are identified easily by their long bright blue arms, which grow ofter twice as long as their bodies. The males use these large arms as a defense mechanism against predators who try to invade their territories. No way would i want to be in a boxing match with these creatures. Might be a loss just off reach alone.

To the right is a photo of multiple types of creatures, mainly an odd looking creature called a Paddle fish. These creatures are of the ray-finned fish family belonging to order Acipenseriformes, an one of the two living groups of the order alongside sturgeons. They are distinguished from other fish by their titular elongated rostrums, which are thought to enhance electro reception to detect pray. I must say, these creatures at first glance would remind you of something out of an sci-fi movie. This particular case was large and full of different ocean life. All the different colors and hues of the creatures is enough to grab your attention and hold it. Personally, it could have been a better selection of food, but i like to eat so that may be a personal pet peeve. Who knows though, some of these creatures are textured and disfigured

PADDLEFISH to the regular human eyes so my appetite may have been ruined anyway. Now speaking of crazy colors and textures, these Jellyfish were surely a sight to see.

I’m not sure if the case was changing colors, or if the jelly fish were changing colors, or if there was a combination of the case changing and the jellys changing with the lights in the case. Given what we learned about Jellyfish in school, watching them move and interact still is an amazing sight to see. You can actually observe them interact and also visually see what they are made of. There had to be at least 100 of them in this case, they bum into each other and keep moving along like nothing happened. These brainless creatures are actually extremely dangerous even though people would consider them a living bag of water.

The Oklahoma Aquarium is a very good place to take the family. So many wonders of the water to see, detailed information about all the living things in the ocean, and also a very safe and interactive place for children to feel different textures of these creatures. Me personally i was to chicken to get fishy with the fish. Here i am 6’3 240 pounds scared to death to touch a stingray, and this 9 year old child walks up excited to rub his hands across the back of this creature.

One of the most humbling moments of my adult life. There is a tunnel style, dome shaped environment to where you can walk through the tunnel and sharks swim all around you. Never being to a place such as this, it took a deep breath to walk through and observe. I had no choice, its hard to give you a perspective without the experience. This area is filled with bull sharks, tiger sharks, and a few stingrays and smaller fish. For me, completely over whelming, to the kids, a world of wonder. Heading on the way out i encountered a very odd looking fish. I come to find out the name of the fish is a Longhorn Cowfish. This creature has two horns that lunge forward from its head near the eyes. Seemed like a pretty harmless creature, but looks alone are intimidating. So many wonders in this environment i would definitely recommend if for the family, and overall enjoyed my time exploring.

Even the times that scared the socks off me.
