H

ow many times have you wondered what God had in mind when he created you? What is the reason for your existence, or did he even consider of the good times and the bad? Hmm, interesting questions, right? Stop beating yourself up because there are no crazy questions. Matthew 7:7-8 says, Ask and it will be given to you,� seek and you will find, knock and the door will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives; the one who knocks the door will be opened. NIV. So, that lets us know that he will not keep any good thing from us. In the beginning of creation God created the heaven and the earth. And the earth was without form, and void, When I think about this, I know he had us in mind. Your purpose was created out of void and everything or everyone was good. Because he knows his thoughts toward you, is always more than we see in ourselves. That lets me know he has us in mind. Purpose is defined as the reason for which something is done or created or for which something exists.

Where the confusion comes in is when we do not align ourselves for what he purposed for us. Everything of God is good. Many times, life gets us off track or throws a curve ball in our plans.

Once we began to accept the reason whether it is good or bad, we will realize that it comes with trials and tribulations. He even causes that to work out for you. All my endurance of molestation, child abuse, and domestic violence carried their own level of pain. It is almost like taking out your stony heart and replaces it with a pure one. The Enemies job is to sift you as wheat and desire to kill, steal and destroy you, your mind, and keeps the bad things you to distract you to not know your purpose.

When you are facing so much pain, he wants you just to give up. But I encourage you to push through the pain into your purpose. The very thing the Enemy saw as your weakness, God knew it would one day become your strength. That is your purpose because now you are not only walking through it but, now you’re able to go back and help others going through the sane things delivered you from. You have got this baby! Walk in your purpose. No one can do it but you, that is what makes you so unique!

WHO IS DR. LADERA HUMBLE BINNINGS

I

was born in Houston, Texas and spent every summer in Jennings, Louisiana were my grandfather, Horace Randolph was The 1st Black Chief of Police and my grandmother, Rozins Randolph was a housewife who loved to cook Cajun/ Creole dishes. I raised in a two-parent home that consisted of my father and mother A.C. & Zelanda Watson (deceased). I have wonderful siblings 2 brothers, Anthony & Lamond Watson and the oldest is my sister Gwen Randolph.

Us only us two left when our two younger brothers passed suddenly a year and 9 days apart. Sometimes God can through in a rod to help you get passed the grief and bereavement.

Wow! Childhood does not hold very fond memories but, I do remember at the age of 5 my teacher challenged her students to learn how to read over the weekend. And whoever came back reading, we would get this great big book.

That student was me and it had opened a new world for myself. I was

very talkative which was not always celebrated. I was constantly talking and now that I could read, I was trying to correct all my teachers’ mistakes.

I was that child who was constantly placed in times out or sent to the principal’s office. I loved school and sways was advanced for my age.

However, the travel to school is what affected me for the rest of my life.

My parents worked during the day and because I was in pre-K during midday school and my mother decided with my cousin to make sure I got there on time. My childhood was not the best but, even then God was using me. I was very spiritual, wise, and very able to see things before they happened which had to be from God. My most inspiring childhood experience was the time my mother surprised us with our first puppy, Shantel. All my life I was considered an entertainer & a singer. I was known to sing at the very age of 4. Singing in church amongst a big congregation made my goal in life to become a singer. Now, as an adult, I see it being fulfilled.

During my teen years I focused more on using my singing talent and knowing I was going to Grambling University in Louisiana. Yes, I did, and it was a beautiful experience. I was awarding a music scholarship which gave me skills that I did not get in high school. I also found myself using school or work as a safe haven to avoid going home and dealing with my mother’s verbal and physical abuse.

Volleyball became my life as well as my educational journey. Teenage years also taught me that I was different and set apart from others. Yet. I did not understand what God was doing even then in my life. Eventually, I became a pregnant teen which was never in my future.

After having my so, Jarius WatsonDean, I found it hard to leave him with my parents and return to Grambling, but of course I chose him and put my education on the back burner. I was introduced to this guy who 4 years later became my 1st husband. He was very abusive, but I did get the warning before the destruction. After my endurance of domestic violence for 13 years, God made me a way of escape. It also turned me into the woman I am today. I am a woman after God’s own heart, walking in my purpose as I teach others how to take their pain and turn it into their purpose.

Family Is The Center Of All Things from lashes to skin care because we are beautiful on purpose! When I got my first degree, I put myself through college by opening an in-home daycare and attended college on weekends. I can honestly say I am a woman of God who has learned to set boundaries and trust the process.

Being a CEO of 4 companies especially as a black woman feels very liberated and it helped me to put the pieces of the puzzles together of why I was always so determined to become an Entrepreneur. I always want to be the leader not the borrower. Also, being in controlled situations all my life, I love having to answer to only God! I always want to be the leader not the borrower. Also, being in controlled situations all my life, I love having to answer to only God! My first major career began at CPS (Child Protective Services) where I was an investigator. After the assignment was over, I was able to travel the world working for SBA (Small Business Association & Disasters). Notice I said assignments because even though I worked desired to be in full time ministry. So, every job led me places that I had to minister to others to bring them to Christ.

My career change was not by choice based on how the assignment ended.

What I mean by that is I knew God was preparing me to leave the corporate world and be in a position that I could operate in my own businesses. The last job I began to suffer with terrible sciatic and lower back problems, every time they wanted to send me back to Houston I would tell them I wanted to persevere which is one of the fruits of the spirit. doors were closed in corporate arena that no man could ever open.

It took me to understand the journey I had to take was all according to my purpose. I began fasting and asking God why was I here, what was I here for, and am I just taking up space? He began to show me even during my low points of trying to take my own life because I felt unworthy, he still needed me. He told me, “Here I am trying to give your life and you’re trying to take your life.” Finally, after so many losses of friends and family members, I began to see clearly that my purpose was just beginning.

After seeking God and knowing his voice, during my radio days as a

host, which it was called “Let’s Get To The Root, Where Pain is Turned Into Purpose,” God gave me 3 different people at different times, and different situations to tell me he wanted me to reinstate my Domestic Violence business which is also my ministry.

Now, after that no further reassurance was needed.

Not only did I begin and figured out how to integrate all my businesses into one but, everything that God made me put together was to be used in my businesses which were all purposed.

EDUCATION/ CERTIFICATION Education to me is one thing that I realized how my knowledge was power. School was always my main goal in life. I hold a BA degree in Human Science from Our Lady Of The Lake University, my first Masters in social work in in the area of Human Services from Capella University, than I began desiring to know the logistics of business and received my MBA along with my husband, Pastor Micheal Carn from American

Intercontinental University, and for all of my hard work and life’s trials, I was given an Honorary Doctorate in Divinity Degree. Because I do not want to just have experience of things I suffered throughout life, I received certifications in Domestic Violence, license ordained minister, licensed in Christian Counseling, Holistic and Wellness, Certified Life Coach, and others.

What I have experienced in business is that faith without works is dead. You must have a clear vision which is your business plan, a supportive board not just helping me run my business, holding me accountable, and keeping me prayed up. You must have a solid foundation and trust God to provide the vision he is given you. Even in the down times he is still faithful and so am I. My baby (business) was birth in October of 2009 and recently reinstated this year on October 2, 2020.I would say I have always been consistent in some form of business; however, it’s been a year that I’ve been running my businesses. Two of my businesses, D’D’s and Purposeful Outreach and Community Center are nonprofits and the other 2, Purposeful Warehouse Company and Stretched Beyond Measures area for profits. One I always

seem to forget is Purpose for Life Academy which is also for profit. DD’s is an intake call center that provides resources and information to domestic violence victims.

We provide Christian Counseling, support groups ranging from divorce, grief & bereavement, lie skills, education, interview skills, also empowerment to help them become victims to independent survivors. All my businesses are diversified.

However, DD’s only service women & children of domestic violence and sex trafficking until my Community Center becomes a 501c3 entity. DD’s mission is to make sure that we educate and help victims where we can live in a society with no more violence of any kind. Our vision is to be the voice and a place of haven to those who are voiceless and

stuck in their situation. If it were not for this amazing team who pushes, encourages one another, motivate, and bring DD’s vision to life, there would be no us.

This team so far is our Director, Ronda Raven, Assistant Director/ Executive Secretary, NaTasha Jackson, Our Treasure, Gwen Randolph, Programmer, Ketina Willis, Mentor/Legal Advisor, Carvana Cloud-Hicks, Volunteer/ Assistant, Courtney Brown and any companies that has partnered with us along the way.

We currently have one location in the Spring/Houston/Tomball area, but we are striving to have “Marsheida’s House” which will be our transitional homes nationwide.

Marsheida Dorsey Carn is my bonus daughter who lost her life at the age of 24 by her partner due to dv. She is the main reason why I do what I do.

s a Social worker and minister it is my duty to serve my community. We have helped served families with bags of groceries, feed & prepa red food for the communitye specially during this pandemic. As we are just beginning this journe , we are now receiving offers for partner ships. I believe the more we work together, the greater the needs will be met. Last year.

I Never Thought The Pain I Went Through Can Change The Way I Give Back.

DVine Destiny Ministry & Crisis Center was given a Proclamation for our hard work in the community during my time on the radio, Rhema Gospel Radio Station 101.5 FM, where I would bring on guest to talk about their stories where their pain was turned into purpose. During the month of October, I dedicated that month to survivors who we reable to tell their story to the world. We also we reable to put on our 1st Annual Butterfly & Balloon Release, announce Marsheida’s House proclamation, and honor 25 Domestic Violence Survivors. We were also told that two victims decided to leave their abusers because of that event. Oh, how great joy I have knowing that my purpose is helping others to find theirs.

I am also an author of 6 books that 5 can be purchased on Amazon. This have allowed me to be on a 6-month book tour which began this year with BAM (Black Authors Matter) and as 2021, I will be one of BAM’s HOSTS! Look at God!

OPEN DISSUSION

P

urpose means to me especially as an Entrepreneur is because we are all created according to God’s purpose and our gifts shall make room for us so make sure you know your gifts in order to live a prosperous life. Since I have been walking in my purpose so many doors have been opened and my life finally understands the meaning behind my purpose. It is so important for women to begin some form of entrepreneurship journey because once you realize who and whose you are, you can understand that you have a reason for your existence. To me purpose is passion! It is a major part of your Destiny. It is a special and unique task that only you can fulfill. Your purpose is when your journey meets every need and requirement it was created to do. No one’s journey is all roses and sunshine’s especially Christian’s, we will endure trials, and suffering for righteousness sake. The good as well as the bad will all work out for your purpose. One of my major struggles would be to understand that God will supply all my needs.

There were many times I would cry and overthink things because I knew I could not make a way. However, one day it hit me like a truck what God’s revelation revealed, He will make provision for our vision. I have learned and still learning how to lean not to lean to my own understanding, to seek God first, and praying about everything concerning his perfect will for your life. I promise he has the answers!

Wow, I have realized through my 20-year relationship with God is that some people are here for seasons and reasons. A few would be m husband because he supports me in many ways than one. My youngest daughter, Courtney who travels with me, helps me when my body is physically challenged, and makes sure I am at every event or appointment on time. My board is a major component, mentors that have been appointed to me, who don’t require anything from me but my obedience and everyone who has crossed my path that believed in me, pushed me even when I didn’t believe in myself. Lastly, everyone who keeps me

covered in prayer and words of encouragement! Anyone who is trying to make that decision to become an Entrepreneur, I say, “Go for It”! One thing I love to push people is into their gifts/ purpose. During this pandemic I have witnessed more businesses coming together, people trusting in God, doing faith walks, and becoming someone who was alway there. I also want to say that it takes discipline, and you may not see the fruits of your labor right away but in due season. Social media, fliers, word of mouth, favor, and knowing what a SWOT Analysts means will help you.

Know your target market, how to brand yourself, and how to be your best marketer. Know your business inside and out because it is your vision no one else’s.

To all those who want to start a business, leave a legacy for their children and children’s children, it all starts with having a personal relationship with God. He will give you the vision and the means to fulfill it. Trust the process and do not get weary in well doing, wait on it, and it will manifest in due season.

L

adies, I know you been through it all. Some of you been in the failed marriage. You settled for a false and fake love, only to find yourself in a hell-wind of Psychological/mental or physical abuse. That failed mess of a relationship was a blessing in disguise for your future self. Begin to get in alignment with God for your Divine Husband, your true boo, the real King, not that thing. Are you ready to be blessing and not have the burden of an unhealthy and toxic relationship?

Allow this Blessing to prepare you, heal you from emotional hurt, prune you into a Ruth so when the Lord send your Boaz you are whole and ready. God had the one already planned for you before you were born, He knew how

he would look, what he would have to offer you, and most importantly how he would love you as Christ loves the church. Understand that you didn’t lose a thing when that relationship ended, but you are the “GOOD THING”

found. Just like the waters of the beach washed the sand from that shell, so did you once you forgave your past and let it go. Ruth had to let go of her past to move forward into her destiny.

Now, is the season to unleash the old you and rediscover the Ruth qualities and ignite the Queen inside of you.

Once she realized where she was could no longer allow her to be the woman she was that is when she sought change. “Where you go, I will go. where you stay, I will stay” Ruth 1 : 16). Ruth humbled herself and became a source for her future willing to be apart of a new thing, she left the past behind. With her servant heart she prepared resources for herself and others allowing her strength of endurance to carry her into bigger opportunities to be found.

I Now, is the season to unleash the old you and rediscover the Ruth qualities and ignite the Queen inside of you. It is time for the ruby to be found. You do not have to show anything extra, talk loud in the grocery store, or falsify your beauty to receive the attention of him.

Once you are healed have forgiven your past you are like a shell on the shores of the beach waiting to be

Allow the gentleness of your words, the kindness of your heart, the humbleness and obedience to the voice of the Lord place you into unfamiliar yet prepared places.

Now is your season to walk into your Queendum, but to do this you must be free. Free of every negative thought that was placed into your mind about them.

Yes, the MEN, Let the Father handle what was lost from their shortcomings. Focus on preparing YOU from the inside out so there be a divine connection to tie that 3-string cord.

Queens, walk in peace, bring peace, and give our Kings peace in the home. Just like Ruth we are his complete, to be by his side not in his side (causing pain). There is still a Boaz out there for you but are you ready to be his Ruth? Are you a Chayil woman?

Are you ready to be a team ? Are you ready to be his solution and not his problem?

Leave the excuses of how no one can change or there are no good men out of the equation. top trying to do the math of God. And with all twelve fruits of the Spirit you be the answer to his addition.

LET YOUR FAITH BE BIGGER

THAN YOUR FEARS

BY CARIS L. REED Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. But without faith it is impossible to please him; for he that cometh to God must believe that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.”(Hebrews 11:1;6).

KJV Let us not be overwhelmed by fear for it is just a mere illusion telling us what we cannot do. But we have the power through faith that whatever we believe will overcome those fears. Faith is a Biblical Principle it was spoken of repeatedly.

As a matter of fact, Jesus said, in Matthew 17:10 all it takes is the size of a mustard seed and you can tell a mountain to be moved from your life.

Faith is your belief system, and the internal hope of force and mental strength of something coming to pass. Always remember you are in control and not fear. Fear is your enemy and faith is your friend. Increase it with scripture, prayer, and actions. “LET YOUR FAITH BE BIGGER THAN YOUR FEARS”

Moving on without Regrets

I

have experienced two divorces in my life, and I say that without regrets. Now, let me say this I did not get married to my either of the unions to be divorced. My intentions, hopes, and aspirations along with the love for them at those times were “till death do us part�.

According to the National Center for Health Statistics Marriage and Divorce the divorce rate is 2.9 per 1,000 population. We can only assume each had its own reason for this rate number. Every marriage was different as well as each couple in the marriage union. But what I can say is you are never condemned because of your divorce. And never let anyone make you feel condemned

for taking your situation if it was valid in your own hands. You never needed someone to tell you to leave an abusive marriage, abuse to your children, or anything that has harmed you physically, or psychological.

No matter how wrong the reason for the divorce there was is still a part of the process which can bring some women and men emotional pain.

Feelings of why it never worked, or even unanswered questions you may wanted to ask your ex-spouse.

Now that you are divorced you are able to love yourself wholeheartedly, you can spend time or more time in the presence of the Most High, because you may be alone but you are not lonely. Use this season of single-

ness to rediscover you and your gifts .

I want you to live your new life without regrets of begin divorced.

Realize that you have been given a new opportunity to get closer to your creator. Learn of Him and discover your purpose. If this experience were to leave you with a testimony then, share it with others.

Move on in your new life and live it without regrets take some time to yourself and enjoy being single until the next season of marriage. Because just like me you too can still be found by the man who was destined to be your purpose partner and husband for life.

y One of the most amazing things that I love about knowing your purpose and understanding your own personal journey is knowing that you have a direct relationship with God. When HE speaks, you listen; and when you speak, you know that He listens to you.

It is such a great feeling, knowing that you have someone who will listen and lead you in the path that you should go. When God whispers to you, then it is His guidance who you should follow not man. We are all here on earth collectively to serve within Gods

kingdom and work together for His purpose.

Often times people stay in a certain position of power for so long that they feel like THEIR way is the only way. And because they have a familiar name or face, then people often look to them and trust that they are leading them in the right path. They tend to go to that person first before going to God, ultimately shifting from pleasing God to pleasing man.

This is why it is so imperative that we have our own relationship with God and follow YOUR set purpose in life.

Now, not everyone knows what their

purpose is, but the solution to that it so simple. Take time to press pause in your everyday lives and spend time in prayer and meditation to ask God to show you your purpose, then He will do just that.

We often spend so much time making sure that our friends, family, churches, community organizations, and employers’ purposes are met daily, but what about your purpose?

I challenge you to take a little time to reflect and carve out some time to not only do self- check, but also do a purpose-check. Why? Because you are worth it. God has even shown us how worth it you are. How do I know this, because if you look at the world right now you can see that God has stepped in and paused the world just for you.

Yes you! Now that we are in the midst of a world pandemic, it has forced us to stay in our homes and limits to the amount of everyday resources that we are accustomed to having. This is the perfect time to do something that you haven’t had time to do when the world was so “busy”. This is the perfect time for a purpose-check”.

This is so important because your dreams matter. Your drive matters. And your purpose matters!

We cannot give up and lose sight of our own purpose and being. If you’re like me, I’ve often said to myself, “I want to do this or I want to do that but I’m so busy that it would take an act of God to slow me down.” Well guess what. The time is now. We often hear about the great things that God does and how He loves us so much that He would do anything for us. Could it be possible that he believes in us so

much that He’d stop the world just for us? So why not press pause for Him

10. Come up with a new business idea.

If you haven’t done so, make a list of things that you’d like to do and get started! It doesn’t have to be done in one day, but every single item that you check off of your list will bring you a refreshing amount of peace.

You will come out of this an even greater winner than you were when you started. Did you catch what I just said? You’re already winning, so now is a great time to take it up a level. Don’t worry, you’ve got this!

11. Mail an appreciation or thinking of you card to someone.

Here’s a small list of things to give you a little inspiration and head start to making your own list as YOU “Press Pause for Your Purpose”.

1. Make a list of all the things that you are thankful for and hang it on the wall or refrigerator.

2. Read a Book.

3. Spring clean your home.

4. Finish a project that you started long ago.

12. Add exercise or yoga to your day.

13. Sit outside and take in some fresh air.

14. Dance around the house.

15. Find things to make you laugh.

16. Cook or bake something.

17. Self-care.

18. Read and Study the Bible.

19. Call someone you haven’t spoken to in a while.

As you do some of these things, sit back, reflect, and ask God to show you an even greater purpose and how you can help the next person in line.

After all, your purpose was given to you on purpose and not for you to just sit on it. Enjoy your daily walk, bless someone else, live, laugh, and love on purpose!

ell us the tiltle of your book and why you chose it or what motivated you to produce this book? The title of my book is “Mixed Emotions”. This title was chosen because during the time when the journals were written I was experiencing a lot of different emotions, due to a number of situations occurring at the same time.

the same time, and often I had to grab myself and say “…Girl, control your emotions.”

Tell us what was your goal/ purpose for writing your book?

Initially I did not write a book. I kept a journal of issues, concerns, and prayers to God. Often, I would

share things that occurred in my life with other young women, and they would often express how my testimony helped other women.

After realizing that by sharing my story, I was strengthening others; therefore, it compelled me to share these experiences with more people, in hopes that it will help them grow spiritually as much as I have.

Who is your target audience for your book and what is the message in your book for them?

My target audience is adult women and men that are attempting to live single, saved lives. The message in “Mixed Emotions” reminds the readers that your singleness is not something that should make you feel hopeless, and it is not something you should fear. Once you find peace in your singleness, then you will grow to be more patient and direct concerning what you truly desire for your lives.

How long have you been a self-published Author?

This is my first written publication, but I have been self publishing musical works since 2012.

Why did you decide to become an Author?

I never thought that I would one day be an author, but after reading several journal entries that I had written, it reminded me of how great God has been throughout my journey, which prompted me to release my journals to help others. So the book was not created for that purpose, but I assume since I am living my life on purpose, it was destined to be

Are you the only Author of this book if not how many other authors?

I am the only author of “Mixed Emotions,” although at times I play a number of different characters, there’s only one writer, talking to one GOD.

Mixed Emotions:Mixed Emotions, is a written publication of prayers and conversations rendered to God from a young, single mother, who found herself often overwhelmed by her journey through life.

Organizational levels are planned for building the career of our young people, where they will be represented by a significant number of our boxers after the time of the pandemic, in the performances that will take place in the USA. Also in his role as head of marketing, he has influenced his social and business attitude by promoting young talents. He has noted his success in both engineering and technical support in occasional project-based engagements.

He has also been one of the main initiators as a freemason to strengthen humanitarian activities and to contribute as an independent personality in progressive areas that stimulate and manage to create important alternatives for the future of the people. He went to Patrick Henry High School where I graduated with a 3.9 GPA. He like to play sports; football, track, and baseball. Electricity is his

main trade. People call him Jack of all trades. He has been challenged all life and been through many obstacles.

He got street knowledge and book knowledge. He enjoys working out, fishing, bowling, and physical athletic activities. He has been a bouncer and security guard in bars and clubs throughout his life, in all different kinds of atmospheres and crowds. He has been in boxing at gyms like Coach as well.

He consider himself a true man of God. He was nominated back on December 19, 2019, as NC State Chair for the BMMAFU Boxers Union 0117 and 1942! And this year moved to Vice President of Talent Support which He recruit boxers and managers globally! Mr. Dunn became a boxing promoter in 4 different states this year of 2020! He also just got nominated as Committee Secretary for WGCofB which stands for World General Council of Boxing. He was nominated on January 12, 2020, as A&R and Promoter for 3HP Marketing & Promotions! Which is the brand and label of Troy Edwards he is the owner he started his brand and built an empire! While he does a lot of soundtracks for movies, music, gospel, and more in the entertainment business, he has his network, and a lot more about to happen.

Mr. Dunn be working on the movie side of the Redemption project! He has been a great and big help and I am still learning as I go and I am going to get better and better and master everything I put my hands on and learn! Mr. Dunn create his BRAND Dunn Right Promotions, which is a new brand, built in the market for the sports management field. The

any a time you may have heard a parents or elders in your home saying set a goal if you want to achieve success. You may have not listened to them then but have regretted later.

Setting a goal and accomplishing it is one of the major ways to achieve success. There is almost no second way. Setting a goal gives you all the emotional support to move forward in life to achieve success. Many factors play an important role to achieve success. Motivation, optimism, persistence, determination, actions, confidence, faith, attitude, and predicting factors plays a major role in setting and achieving goals. You can dream however it is only you through faith who can fulfill those dreams to your desired success. When you set goals, it adds to your purpose in life.
