Blackjack and poker are two of the world’s most popular table games, both at online and land-based casinos. Blackjack rules
The rules of blackjack are simple. Each player attempts to beat the dealer by getting a hand total as close to 21 as possible, without going over that value. All number cards (2-10) are worth the number indicated on them, face cards (Jack, Queen, King) are worth 10, and the Ace can either be worth 1 or 11, depending on the other cards that the player holds.
Once bets have been placed, the dealer gives each player, and themselves, a face-up card.
A second card is then dealt to everybody, though this time the dealer’s card is face down.
Once the cards have been dealt, the players can either ‘hit’ or ‘stand’. Those that hit receive an additional card, whereas those that stand do not. Players can hit as many times as they want, but if their cards reach a value of more than 21, they go bust, meaning that they immediately lose their bet.
There are other plays that a player can make:
Double-down: once the initial cards have been dealt, players that believe they have a favorable hand can doubledown. This involves placing an additional bet, equal to the first, before receiving a third and final card. After this card has been dealt, the player is forced to stand.
Split: if the player’s first two cards are of matching rank (for example, two 10s), they can choose to split them into separate hands, repeating the original bet for the second hand.
The player then plays both hands as normal.
Surrender: some casinos allow players to take back half of their bet and give up their hand, though this is only allowed if it’s the player’s first and only move.
Once the players have finished playing, the dealer’s hand is resolved. In most casinos, the dealer must hit until they have a total hand value of 17 or more. If the dealer goes bust, then all remaining players win.

Poker rules
There are many different poker variations, but in the interest of clarity, we’re going to focus on Texas hold ’em specifically.
Texas hold ’em uses a deck of 52 playing cards. Each player is dealt two face-down ‘hole’ cards at the start of the game, followed by a round of betting known as the ‘pre-flop’. After
the pre-flop, three ‘community’ cards are placed face-up in the center of the table – this is called the ‘flop’. Players can make additional bets after these cards are revealed. Next, the fourth (the turn) and fifth (the river) community cards are dealt, with a betting round in between. Players have to use the seven available cards to make the best possible fivecard poker hand. The highestranking hand is called a ‘royal flush’, and requires a player to have a 10, Jack, Queen, King and Ace, all in the same suit.
There are additional poker variations, even within Texas hold ’em itself:
• No-limit hold ’em: players can bet or raise any amount up to, and including, an all-in bet.
• Pot-limit hold ’em: the maximum raise is equal to the current size of the pot.
Limit hold ’em: players are only allowed to bet the same amount as the big blind – a forced bet made before the cards are dealt – during the pre-flop and flop, and double the big blind during the turn and the river.

ARSENAL STRUGGLE PAST WOLVES FOLLOWING MARTINELLI RED CARD
On Thursday, Arsenal managed to scrape a win against an inform Wolves side, after going a man down in the 69th minute.
Despite an impressive string of results in October and November, Arsenal went into this match having not won a game in any of their last five.
Wolves, on the other hand, had come out victorious in their previous three Premier League games, including a 1-0 win against Manchester United.
From the onset, Arsenal looked determined to change their recent fortunes, and an early Alexandre Lacazette assist led to defender Gabriel bundling in his third goal of the campaign, putting the visitors ahead within 25 minutes.
This marks the only firsthalf goal that Wolves have conceded in the Premier League since October, while being only the second time that Arsenal have scored this year.
However, a bizarre red card –the team’s fourth in six matches – made for an unnecessarily
complicated end to the game for the Gunners. Michael Oliver handed Martinelli two yellow cards in the same passage of play, for two separate incidents.
The first involved Martinelli pushing Wolves’ Podence as he was taking a throw-in, while the second was given for a foul onto Chiquinho, putting an end to a potentially dangerous counter-attack.
Because an advantage was given for the initial push, the referee booked the Arsenal forward for a “double-offence”, as it was described by one commentator.
Arteta described the peculiar turn of events as “worrying”, saying that he hadn’t “seen a red card like this in 18 years that [he’s] been in this league”.
Arguably more concerning is that this is Arsenal’s fifth red card of the season, and the fourth in their last six games.
Since the beginning of January, Gabriel has been sent off against Manchester City, Xhaka against Liverpool
in the first leg of the EFL cup and Partey against Liverpool in the second leg.
Going down to 10 men is never easy, and perhaps explains why Arsenal have struggled as of late.
Wolves will be disappointed not to have capitalised on their opponents’ playerdisadvantage, having had greater possession and more attempts on goal by the time the final whistle was blown.
Bruno Lage’s squad even had a goal disallowed following Martinelli’s dismissal.
The result boosts Arsenal’s hopes of earning a spot in the Champions League, placing them in fifth, above Manchester United on goal difference alone.
Wolves’ hopes of snatching a seventh-place spot from Tottenham were dashed, but an away win against the London-based club on Sunday would put them ahead by a single-point, and within reaching distance of European football.
CANADA’S RELATIONSHIP WITH THE NFL
Canada’s Grey Cup has often been referred to as the country’s Super Bowl, a nod to its neighbours south of the border. The Grey Cup is the name given to both the championship match between the East and West champions, as well as the trophy provided to the winning team. It is the pinnacle of the Canadian Football League and is one of the country’s most highly anticipated and most-watched sporting events. However, this doesn’t mean that the Super Bowl is overlooked.

Interestingly, the Grey Cup has a much longer history than the NFL’s Super Bowl. The first edition of the Grey Cup arrived in 1909, while the first Super Bowl (which was won by the Green Bay Packers) didn’t take place until 1967.

Like most young football fans, it was almost inevitable that he would turn his hand towards playing FIFA at some point. Originally picking up the game in 2003, Ealing burst onto the competitive FIFA scene in 2014 and has had an incredibly lucrative career from that point onwards.

Gorilla’s competitive FIFA journey started in 2014, when he signed up for an online Gfinity tournament. Although unsuccessful in his first year, Ealing wasn’t deterred. He qualified for, and won, his first-ever LAN event – the Gfinity Spring Master I – the following year.
Impressed by his potential, Excel Esports signed Gorilla in April 2015. It was during his tenure at the British esports organisation that he won his second and third Gfinity tournaments: Spring Master II and Play Like a Legend: Season 4.
Ealing left Excel in September 2015, joining Epsilon eSports until February 2017. While FIFA 16 was in rotation, Gorilla won Play Like a Legend: Season 1, Play Like a Legend: Season 2 and Play Like a Legend: Grand Final, making him a six-time Gfinity champion.
After a disappointing couple of results at the Electronic Sports World Cup in Paris and the Ultimate Team Championship Series 2017: Season 1, Gorilla decided to make the switch to UNILAD Esports, a new organisation looking to take the esports scene by storm.

Stocks are traded on stock exchanges such as the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE), the NASDAQ, the London Stock Exchange (LSE) and the Australian Securities Exchange (ASX). These organisations have rules and regulations to ensure that the market operates efficiently and fairly.
How to invest in stocks
Stock trading for beginners involves considering your overall investment aims and your reasons for investing. Your risk-profile will dictate which types of stock you should hold, taking into account the inevitable fluctuation of market prices.
Some investors buy stocks to gain broad exposure to the financial markets. If this is the case, blue-chip stocks or stock ETFs offer lower risk-return.

WHAT IS BLOCKCHAIN TECHNOLOGY?
By definition, a blockchain is an immutable, distributed digital ledger. Put more simply, a blockchain is a digital record of transactions or data. This data cannot be altered and is stored in multiple places on a computer network. The immutability, or unchangeable nature of the ledger, means that it is always accurate, while the distributed aspect helps to protect the network from malicious attacks.

How does blockchain work?
Data is stored on the ledger in a “block”, which essentially functions as a container of information. Blocks have a specific storage capacity, and when one is filled, it is linked to the previous block and a timestamp is generated. Over time, as more blocks are created, a chain of data is formed, hence the term “blockchain”.
Blocks
Blocks are clusters of data that function as links in a chain. Blocks contain two important numbers:
Nonces: 32-bit whole numbers that are generated once a block is created.
Hashes: 256-bit numbers used to identify a specific block’s data, almost like a digital fingerprint.
Once a block is complete, its nonce generates a hash, and the block is considered signed and permanently bound to those numbers. This makes the block, and the data contained within it, cryptographically secure.
Nodes
Nodes are devices – computers or servers in the network – that are able to participate in a whether the data in a blockchain is valid, using a set of rules agreed by the network.
Any actions made must be approved by the majority of the blockchain’s remaining nodes. For example, if a node creates a new block, it is sent to every other node on the network to
validate and confirm that it has not been altered. This agreement is called a “consensus” and helps to explain why blockchains are so secure.
How do blockchains achieve consensus?
There are different ways for blockchains to achieve consensus. The primary two consensus mechanisms are Proof of Work (PoW) and Proof of Stake (PoS).
Proof of Work (PoW)
Proof of Work was the first system used to validate blocks in a blockchain, and is the protocol used by Bitcoin. Proof of Work uses a system called “mining” to create new blocks.
Miners, or validators, must compete to find the correct nonce-hash combination of a particular block, which functions like a digital key. The first person to find the correct nonce-hash, using computational power and advanced software, validates it and permanently records the data onto the ledger. The successful validator receives a small amount of the blockchain’s native cryptocurrency as a reward.
Proof of Stake (PoS)
There are different types of Proof of Stake blockchains. Most commonly, a PoS consensus mechanism involves node operators offering cryptocurrency as collateral. This collateral is usually the cryptocurrency native to that blockchain, and the process is referred to as staking. Those that have staked cryptocurrency are entered into a lottery for the chance to validate the next block in the chain.
Is Blockchain Safe?
No technology is ever fully secure. However, a blockchain has the potential to be safer than traditional networks. Every block has a unique address and a link to the previous block in the chain, making them easily traceable and hard to tamper with. There are several other key aspects of blockchain technology that make it so secure:
Immutable (Unchangeable):
Once data blocks have been added to the database, they cannot be changed. This means that malicious users, or hackers, cannot amend data for their own financial benefit.
Consensus: Because transactions are verified according to the blockchain’s consensus mechanism, fraudulent transactions are easily avoided.
Encryption: The blockchain is secured using financial-grade, public key encryption, making access incredibly difficult.

Wenn ein Anleger seinen Stop-Loss zum Beispiel unterhalb dieser Trendlinie setzt, dann wird die Position erst dann geschlossen, wenn der Trend nach unten durchbrochen wird.
Es kann sich für Anleger auch lohnen, den Stop-Loss außerhalb der sogenannten Bollinger Bands zu setzen. Achten Sie hier darauf, wie der Preis, der außerhalb des unteren Bollinger Bands liegt, die Umkehr eines Aufwärtstrends signalisiert – worauf ein Abwärtstrend eingeleitet wird.

Risiko-Ertrags-Verhältnis
Eine weitere Methode, die Größe Ihrer Position zu kontrollieren, ist das Management der sogenannten Erfolgswahrscheinlichkeit, auch Risiko-Ertrags-Verhältnis genannt.
Anders ausgedrückt, können Sie mehr von Ihrem Kapital riskieren, wenn die Chancen für einen erfolgreichen Trade höher sind – und weniger, wenn sie geringer sind.
Betrachten Sie also die Wahrscheinlichkeit, dass Sie einen Verlust erzielen und überlegen Sie, wie hoch dieser wäre und ob Sie dies akzeptieren können. Danach wird es Ihnen deutlich einfacher fallen, zu entscheiden, ob Sie den Handel eingehen möchten oder nicht.
Wenn Sie zum Beispiel ein Risiko-ErtragsVerhältnis von 1:3 haben, dann bedeutet dies, dass Sie in lediglich 33 % der Trades Gewinne erwirtschaften müssen, damit Sie Netto, also über alle Trades, Gewinne erzielen.
