Based on the simple principles of ‘Reduce, Reuse, Recycle’, this is a puppet show which uses the thoughts and feelings of puppets made from plastic bags, discarded fruit and thrown away milk bottles to tell a story of how we deal with our waste. Performed from inside a giant skip, these characters, along with a resident rat, go on a mission to save themselves from drowning in the sea of waste we throw away every day. Join Skiprat and his rubbish characters as they take us on a litter strewn journey from polystyrene to potato skins, via the supermarket, a compost bin and the local dump! This play aims to cut out the junk, keep all the good bits and introduce new ideas from the same old rubbish!

‘I liked when the skip folded down and all the rubbish spilled out.’

A delightful and playful interpretation of a well-known tale - with porridge and bears and one-two-three chairs. A tale that’s not too BIG and not too small but just right.
