WELCOME GENERAL MANAGER MESSAGE Jeff Muller As we head into our 2022 golf season, we are working on staffing our outlets to get all hours of operations back to the fullest. With this, we have made a few team structural changes. The following team members have been promoted - Christina Dalton, Sebastain Stewart and Taylor Bench. Christina Dalton, going on 10 years at Pumpkin Ridge, is the Assistant General Manager, now responsible for overseeing all Food & Beverage operations, and assisting in all areas as needed. Sebastain Stewart, going on 5 years at Pumpkin Ridge, is now the Head Professional at Ghost Creek. He will now oversee the Ghost Creek golf shop and any relative outside service operations. Taylor Bench, going on 3 years at Pumpkin Ridge, will now work in a dual position of Club Accountant and Member Engagement Manager. She will maintain responsibility for all membership accounts, communication content and social media postings.

We look forward to seeing all that they will accomplish in their new positions and know that these promotions will increase member retention and experience!

MEMBERSHIP MEMBERSHIP UPDATE Matt Whitfield Our Pumpkin family continues to grow as we’ve welcomed 5 new members to our membership group over the past month! As our growth continues, please reach out and introduce yourself to any fresh faces at the club when you have an opportunity!

The 2022 Discover Membership program IS still active, and we still have 3 available openings so let me know if you have anyone interested, it is an easy enrollment.

Once the cap limit of 10 is achieved then we stagger enrollment for new Discover Members to align with existing Discover Members ending and/or upgrading.

Initiation Fee update: the decision was made to have an intermediate Initiation Fee increase from $9,000 to $10,000 (Junior Executive (under 40 years old)) and $18,000 to $21,500 (Full Golf (over 40 years old)) until June 15, 2022. At that time, the initiation fees will be increasing to $12,500.00 and $25,000.00. If you have anyone interested in membership, please let me know!

As always, we continue to ask for everyone’s commitment with scheduling (and cancelling) teetimes correctly/accurately via EZLinks in order to maximize access for all members. THANK YOU! Let me know if you have any questions about redeeming referral rewards portal via the members only webpage. Congrats to Tim Swyers, for recently redeeming his referral reward points to golf-shop credit! ENJOY! For those members curious about Icon golf, their next global trip will be June 2nd-7th at Sand Valley Resort in Wisconsin. GOLF COURSE MAINTENANCE Eric Feldhusen It was a busy April for my team and the weather didn’t give us any breaks. In April alone we received over six inches of rain and had over 200 less Growing Degree Days than we have averaged the past 5 years. What does this mean? It means it was a cold and wet April and the course conditions reflect this.

The month of May has not started out much better with us receiving already over 2” of rain in the first 10 days of the month.

As I mentioned the weather has been wet and cold and it feels more like early March weather than midMay. The greens and fairways have held up well overall but are showing some disease activity from the high disease pressure we have been under the past 6 weeks. We are being more aggressive with our plant protectant applications to help offset this disease pressure but are seeing some short-term, superficial break through disease activity that will clear out when the weather turns.

This past April Witch Hollow greens aerification recover was slower than we would have liked due to the cold temperatures. Our staff cannot control the weather and we have done our best with resources we have and projects on hand.I appreciate the patience of everyone as we all wait for warm and dry or at least “normal” weather conditions. I do feel once we turn the course weather wise the golf course conditioning will be right behind it.

As we mentioned before, the LIV Golf event is something that has come at everyone very quickly and my team has had to make a lot of adjustments and sacrifices as we work to bring everything together to make a great event.

GOLF COURSE MAINTENANCE Eric Feldhusen Below are some of the projects that have been accomplished or are being worked on.

Wall to Wall Fertilizer application to the golf courses. This is a slow release product that is only released when the air and soil temperatures warm up. This allows the fertilizer only to be released when the plant really needs the nutrients.

Tree work around the golf course, clubhouses, front entry and parking lot is being continued and should wrap up the week of May 16th.

Leveling of eight pro tee decks for this event. We have also reserved sod to level all our blue and white Par 3 tees on Ghost Creek and Witch Hollow. We will not do # 12 Witch since it was just done last year and # 10 Witch as the blue and white tee are in good shape overall. We will start the leveling of these tees after Labor Day. We are doing it after Labor Day for several reasons including sod and contractor availability and knowing this is the best time to establish new turf to make sure we have a successful project.

Cart Path repair work continues. Weather has not cooperated and has slowed the project, but we are still working forward to complete it all. This will also include a drain basin and over 300’ of 6” drain line added to 5 Ghost Creek to move the water efficiently into the wetlands the comes into our property from our neighbors and road.

We have repaired and replaced asphalt areas in our maintenance facility parking lot where we are seeing damage to equipment from potholes and areas of settling.

Bunker depth checking and adding sand to bunkers as needed.

Pacific Landscape has taken over the landscape maintenance of both clubhouses and all the common grounds through the summer.

Pacific Landscape is enhancing some of our landscape beds around property.

We will be replacing all matting on the foot bridges and have added a new foot bridge to 10 Ghost.

Installing step cuts on both golf courses as we prepare for this tournament We are working on the planning of a few other short- and long-term projects and agronomic practices. When I have everything finalized with these projects, I will provide an update.

Removal our 5 sections of unneeded and unsightly chain link fence between 3 Witch and 17 Ghost.

GOLF PRO SHOP - WITCH HOLLOW GOLF RULES & TIPS John Kawasoe Happy June everyone!

We have an action packed month ahead of us: June 4-5 | Member Member Best Ball June 10 Couples Twilight June 16 US Open Guest Day June 23-July 3 | LIV Invitational Series The weather is getting really nice so I hope everyone has a chance to use the club!

If you watch golf on TV you hear all the time the speed is so important. This is a true statement. Club head speed is one of the factors to lone hitting. Here is a little tip to experiment with swinging a bit faster. Feel free to swing as fast or as hard as you like.

You'll know you're swinging too fast or hard if you cannot hold your finish. Try that the next time you're on the practice range. Swing fast but stick your finish.

Have fun out there. We are so lucky to be able to tee it up at this wonderful Club!

MEMBER SPOTLIGHT GABRIEL & DEVIN PASCUZZI Gabriel Pascuzzi, (approx. 12 hdcp.). Devin (has only been golfing for 3 years and really enjoys it… approx. 30 hdcp.)

12-year-old daughter (Hayden) Devin is a Territory Manager for Precept Wine Gabriel’s dad, sister and Devin’s brother are all golfers!

They are referrals from current PRGC members Rob and Jessica Aragon!

Gabriel caddied at Portland Golf Club for 4 years throughout his teenage years Gabriel is the owner/operator of two local restaurants: Mama Bird, and Feel Good Fun fact: Gabriel competed on TV show “Top Chef” in 2021!

CAPITAL PROJECT UPDATE We have great weather and good news to report on all areas of the Club being refreshed. Here is what was completed last week: New carpet was placed in both Ladies and Mens Locker Rooms New roofing was installed at Witch Golf Shop Painting was completed at both Witch Golf Shop and Clubhouse exterior The exterior painting of Witch Clubhouse is almost complete, and should be fully wrapped up in the next couple of days.

This coming week, we will be working on the following: Installing new water bottle filling stations in the Mens and Ladies Locker Rooms as well as the Halfway House and restroom on 14 Witch Laying new carpet in the Witch Golf Shop Painting the exterior of the Witch Golf Shop Placing new FlagD GPS units on the driving range ball crates, which dynamically provide distance info for each target flag.
