East Hunsbury Youth Club

Funded by East Hunsbury Parish Council and delivered by Trilogy Active, the East Hunsbury Youth Club has been welcoming children and young people from the local community to Danes Camp Leisure Centre. With a mixture of sport, art and craft, roller skating and more, there is something for everyone to enjoy and its FREE for the local community of East Hunsbury!

The session was developed showing East Hunsbury Parish Council’s commitment to providing engaging youth activities for the local community. Danes Camp Leisure Centre has proven to be an ideal location in the heart of the community to offer the range of activities for children 5-13 years.

Trilogy Active are also able to manage the bookings, administration and safeguarding through their established systems.

Chris Serbyn, Trilogy Active’s Health & Wellbeing Development Manager has welcomed the addition of the Youth Club to Danes Camp, “It's brilliant that in partnership with the Parish Council we have been able to deliver a Youth Club specifically for children and young people local to the area. At a time when the cost of living is having an impact on everyone’s finances having a physical activity session on children’s doorstep for free is really important to help support families during a your usual recycling collection day.

The Youth Club session provides an opportunity for children and young people to make new friends in their local area, take part in physical activity, as well as have the autonomy to decide how they themselves want to develop the activity programme. Previously through consultation with participants Trilogy have introduced roller Skating to sessions, and just this week young people have developed the idea of adding Karaoke too - we can’t wait to hear participants singing their hearts out!

The Youth Club is delivered at Danes Camp Leisure Centre every Tuesday during term time between 4.45pm-5:45pm for children aged 5-8 years and 6pm-7pm for 9–13-year-olds. To book your child’s place call Trilogy Active on 01604 838333.

Children must live within the East Hunsbury parish, and this will be verified on your first visit.
