Busy times at King Richard Court

Here at King Richard Court we have had an active few months.

As we went to print last time we were about to enjoy a fantastic Medieval Banquet Night. It was a night long to be remembered. The dining room had been turned into a Baronial Hall and decorated magnificently.

Most people dressed for the event. During the Banquet, a variety of medieval instruments were played for us. Later we had dancing, archery and jousting.

For Diwali we had a shrine in the entrance hall and a well-attended talk by some owners for whom it is a very special festival.

At Remembrance time we had our own memorial wall.

The 50s/60s night was well supported, with a list of music requests so long it would have kept us dancing for over four hours!

We have also enjoyed a Soirée night, where we were introduced to the Hunsbury Ukulele Group. We enjoyed them so much they returned for carols at the Christmas light switch on.

Just before Christmas, all who attended the Christmas Service were delighted to be given a lovely Christmas card made by the 49th Northampton Hunsbury Cubs.

Of course, there were the Christmas Parties to enjoy too!

So as you can tell, there is so much going on here on top of our regular weekly and monthly events to keep us entertained.
