Wednesdays at the Parish Office – are slightly different to other days… In a good way!

Whilst our door is open for the community to come in, meet with us, Wednesdays sees our parish activity room transformed. Each Wednesday, we set up the space as your own front room!

The kettle is on, the radio is on, and people can help themselves to a cuppa and a biscuit. There are magazines and newspapers, board games and a chance to sit and chill out.

The idea was born out of Warm Spaces, which were funded by WNC, to help people during last winter. At East Hunsbury Parish Council, we now intend to keep the space open to the community throughout the summer. Thanks goes to local volunteers who help with this project.

So just pop in, meet up with friends. We are currently looking at requests from residents for using the space for smaller groups, chess club, art sessions etc...

(n.b. one Wednesday per month, we give the space to a new art group. On those days, the Welcome Area will move and be signposted in the main Library room).
