Enjoying East Hunsbury’s Parks!

Step out of your front door and you are probably only minutes away from a park or open space in East Hunsbury – how lucky we are!

The parks are enjoyed by residents for all sorts of reasons – a relaxing stroll, casual picnics with friends, or letting the kids run off some steam. Whatever you use the parks and open spaces for, there are some things we should all remember so that they remain safe and attractive places to visit.

Keep dogs under control

Not everyone is happy to see a dog bounding its way towards them. Please keep dogs under control, and on a lead if they do not come on command.

Please clean up after your dog

We don’t employ a dog poo fairy! Dog waste bags can be disposed of in any litter bin, so there’s no excuse for leaving dog mess in the parks.

Dispose of your litter

Help to keep the parks looking nice by using the bins provided or taking your litter home with you.

No BBQ’s

Picnics are great, but please don’t BBQ.

Supervise children using the play equipment

Keep the sound down

Excessively loud music or boisterous behaviour can put other people off using the parks and disturb nearby residents.
