Introducing our new Neighbourhood Policing Team Sergeant

Dear Residents,

I wanted to take the opportunity to introduce myself to you all as I am your new neighbourhood policing team Sergeant. I took over this role in March of this year from Sergeant Nick Paul who has done an incredible job keeping the communities safe over the years and left me with big shoes to fill!

I joined Northants police in 2009 and have spent the last 13 years on the incident response teams working all over the county with the last 4 years in Northampton. I have now moved over to the community side of policing, and I thoroughly enjoy it with such variety in the role.

I am extremely fortunate to be leading a team of dedicated police officers and community support officers and the whole team is committed to the mission of making the community in which you live the safest it can possibly be.

My team and I are based out of Mereway Fire and Police station, and we cover a number of areas and parishes from Far cotton, Wootton, East and West Hunsbury all the way across to Upton.

I am very keen for my team and I to be visible so that you have the opportunity to engage with us and tell us of any concerns you have or priorities for the area in which you live.

We hold regular events in the community such as ‘Cuppa with a Copper’ and I would encourage you to look out for the advertised events and come along to meet the team whenever you can.
