The vastly experienced duo have immersed themselves in developing the Pure Golf Academy, on the upper tier at Leopardstown Golf Centre, into one of the most sophisticated tour spec set-ups of its kind in Europe. The game has changed and they’ve changed with it.

As great students of the golf swing they are committed to offering the latest tuition systems and expertise to pupils.

They also invest heavily in their own education. They have first hand experience of observing many of the world's top coaches over the years at important conferences and seminars on coaching methods, the mechanics of the golf swing, equipment technology and custom fitting.

The Pure Golf Leopardstown Academy founders also devote a great deal of time to discovering all there is to know about the mechanics of the golf swing through their own research.

The Pure Golf Leopardstown Academy provides hundreds of boys and girls with an enlightening and enjoyable introduction to the game each year.

The Academy hosts junior coaching programmes throughout the year and junior camps during school holidays.

Local schools keen to provide pupils with access to golf coaching also avail of the Academy’s facilities.

The Academy adopts a games-based approach to teaching youngsters swing fundamentals and movement skills at Level 1.

A 9-hole course for beginners adds an exciting dimension to the Academy’s ‘Learn to Play’ junior coaching programmes.

Level 2 and 3 junior programmes are focused on developing skills.

The Academy offers group and individual tuition to golfers of all ages and standards, including the following game improvement programmes...

BEGINNER GROUPS: A ten-week course for male and female beginners and corporate groups.

Topics covered include the fundamentals of the set up and golf swing. Pupils are also provided with an Introduction to the golf course and advice on equipment requirements.

The course embraces five weeks on the range, two weeks devoted to the short game and three weeks on the golf course.

INTERMEDIATE GROUPS: A seven-week course for male and female game improvers and corporate golfers.

The focus is on teaching practice methods and routines that are beneficial before, during and after you play a round of golf. These include preparation for a round (warm up & practice drills), course management and scoring during a round, along with reflection and improvement techniques after a game.

PERFORMANCE GROUPS: These advanced twelve-week tuition courses are limited to six high performance golfers. Topics covered include skills testing, performance testing, TrackMan assessment, goal setting, Sam PuttLab evaluation, equipment evaluation and fitness screening. Participants are also assisted and assessed during practice sessions on the range and golf course, and during group tournaments.
