Miraflores is the most touristic district of Lima, offering a wide range of hotels and restaurants. San Isidro is the district with the highest concentration of offices and business buildings. Miraflores and San Isidro are approximately 30 to 40 minutes by taxi from the Jorge Chávez International Airport.

In contrast, the historic center of Lima is a popular area for visitors, best experienced during the day due to its rich cultural heritage and vibrant atmosphere.

Lima’s climate is a combination of an almost total absence of rain with high levels of atmospheric humidity and permanent cloud cover. Summer (December to March) is humid and warm, while winter months (June to September) are cloudy and mild. During the conference, temperatures fluctuate between 18° and 27°C (65 and 80°F). For daytime, it is recommended to stay hydrated and wear light clothes.

When traveling to the highlands, it is important to rest on the first day to help prevent altitude sickness, consume light meals, stay hydrated, and carry lemon candies for relief.
