Find a study buddy. Ideally, someone who is also planning to take the PTE exam. Studying with someone with the same goal will help you maintain your motivation and productivity. Review and rate each other’s practice test performances. Help each other crack complicated grammar rules and apply them to everyday discourse.



Focus on your linguistic weaknesses. Think your ability to comprehend speakers with strong accents need more work? Then, focus on improving it. Don’t disregard it in favor of further enhancing your other (already sharp) communicative skills. After all, having great essay-writing abilities won’t help you when you encounter a speaker with a prominent English accent.
