PTE Hacks: How to Overcome Study Slumps Study slumps are the bane of any test taker’s life. They usually happen at the most inopportune times (e.g., when you’re preparing for a life-changing exam like the IELTS), draining your study drive and affecting your cognitive faculties. If you’re unfortunate enough to experience one during your PTE online course, don’t worry. All is not lost. Here are six easy but effective steps to overcoming a study slump.

1. Acknowledge that you’re in a slump. Denying it will only keep you from getting over your slump. So, accept it. Remind yourself that it won’t last forever and you will get better eventually.
