5 Ways to Get Rid of Your Paranoia Paranoia is a type of feeling when you have threats in some ways, like people have a close watch on your acts or someone is acting against you, even there is no proof making it true. Most of you have paranoid thoughts at some points in your life. You may be in danger if you have such feelings frequently.

Here are some practical tips for your help: 1. Know “what-if” game People love playing a game with their minds. You can call the game what-if. It is a situation in which you have worries over a point in the future, the one that hasn’t occurred. You begin thinking about the negative things that could occur instead of having positive outcomes or visualizing that you are attaining success. The other term for this is catastrophizing. You think about the worst situation that is in your mind without any proof and relate it to you. For example, you ask yourself What if a person thinks I’m a foolish? Or What if someone makes fun of me? In your ways to control your paranoid thoughts, you have to identify the worst situation and be aware of what you are playing with you. Take a deep breath and pause it when you notice you are playing with you. 2. Train yourself to have positive visualizations Select a time when you have no attack of paranoia or anxiety. Start practicing intentionally placing positive representations in your mind. Begin with a small visualisation. Think and visualise a situation that can’t make you worried and through the circumstances in your mind, visualize how well you complete every step.
