For the fourth year, Providence held its “Grandparents and Special Friends Day,” which this year was celebrated on November 21st. More than 130 combined guests were in attendance and accompanied their grandchildren during the Mass, where a special blessing was bestowed upon them at the end of the Mass.

Working in collaboration with Campus Ministry, the Advancement Department planned the event and the Parent Board graciously hosted a special luncheon reception for the grandparents and their grandchildren.

For many grandparents, the afternoon was bittersweet as they attended with their last grandchild at PHS, which in many ways made the day even more special.
