Second Offense for participating in a fight: • Suspension up to three days; • Placement in DAEP for minimum of 45 days • Citation for Disorderly Conduct; • Loss of Privileges for two (2) calendar years. Third Offense for participating in a fight: • Suspension up to three days; • Placement in DAEP for a minimum of 60 days; • Citation for Disorderly Conduct; • Loss of Privileges for remainder of high school career. SPECIAL NOTE: Any student involved in a fight during the last two weeks of the first and second semester may lose all privileges for two calendar years and may not participate in graduation ceremonies.

FRIDAY NIGHT REFLECTION Students who have missed after school detention or students with more than four (4) tardies, or students who are “making up” time because of absences will be assigned to attend this after school detention. Friday Night Reflection is from 3:45-6:45 pm each Friday. Students missing Friday Night reflection are considered for major discipline including ISS and OSS.

FUNDRAISING Student groups or classes and/or parent groups may be permitted to conduct fundraising drives for approved school purposes. An application for permission must be made to the PHS Administrative office at least 14 days before the event. [For further information, see policies FJ and GE.]

GAMBLING Gambling in any form is prohibited on school property or at any school-related activity on or off school property. All offenses will be dealt with severely.

GANG-FREE ZONES Certain criminal offenses, including those involving organized criminal activity such as gangrelated crimes, will be enhanced to the next highest category of offense if they are committed in a gang-free zone. For purposes of the district, a gang-free zone includes a school bus and a location in, on, or within 1,000 feet of any district-owned or leased property or campus playground.
