ProRaidUK – is undertaking a multi-year campaign of international Paris-Dakar type rally competition but with a fundamental differenceResponsibility
Our team ethos and racing is undertaken with environmental and social imperatives embedded throughout – not a new thing for us, this is how we’ve always pursued our passion since 2016
From supporting charities to green fuels, off-setting of CO2 and circular economy manufacturing/R&D, we look to add value back to society and the planet, whilst also moving the sustainable automotive agenda forward
We are looking to partner with likeminded sponsors to go on a journey of racing, with a passion for excellence but all with a social conscience
We hope you’ll join us?
The spirit of human endeavour
To strive, to explore and push the limits of human physical endeavour are rarely seen today. There are few real frontiers on earth, few places left to explore, which the human spirit hasn’t already overcome.
The Rally Raid phenomena, man and machine against the frontiers, is the last true bastion of such endeavours.
The spirit of human endeavour

Our Ethos
Here at ProRaidUK we take, and always have done, a different approach to racing.
People
The team is formed of mostly former service personnel, some with service injuries, we’re passionate about our sport but also a sense of service and giving something back
With pressure on all our natural resources, motorsport is always a luxury…but it’s also a solution.
ProRaidUK works with academics, industry and car OEM product manufacturers to optimise and develop sustainable solutions in the automotive and travel sector
People – Pro-social engagement
We support and deliver on the following values.
Disability inclusion: We are passionate about disability inclusion; members of the team are disabled wounded former service personnel. We support, on a regular basis, a number of charities by providing at our cost rides, experience, training and inclusion in racing
As well as charitable support we look to conduct, if we race over-seas, a humanitarian project or theme in the country we visit.
Projects have included educational support in Moroccco and in 2024 onwards we are planning community solar micro generator and solar water extraction systems to deliver into country whilst competing in certain areas
Planet – reducing the footprint and mitigation
Bio-Fuel – We only use Crown Oils HVO fuel – Hydrotreated Vegetable Oil – it represents 15% of traditional CO2 from underground fuel sources or equating to around 27-32 g/Km of CO2 similar to an electric vehicle on mains charge
Plant based glue
– New panels are now made using plant derived bioresin epoxy
Solar start-stop –enabling a smaller battery (less heavy/ rare earth metals) and smaller alternator which increases fuel efficiency
Revolutionary Bio-panels and structures. Panels are now made using BComp’s AmpliTexTM and PoweribsTM which are made from bio-materials including linen
Offsetting of CO2 footprint and direct planting. We offset residual CO2 footprint, that can’t be removed by our initiatives, through a highly respected partner Ecologi for genuine offset e.g. nature positive, new projects not existing ones
Planet - Energy transition
As part of our renewables strategy we will complete our transition to Net Zero in 2024. Many are aiming for this but using variable methodologies the path is less clear. We work in sustainability and shape policy on Net-Zero – we know genuine and credible measurement and mitigation – critically reducing CO2 first as low as possible, then offset with ‘true’ incremental tree planting projects
2023 – completed transition to 90% reduction in CO2 footprint for vehicles and 70% for wider fuel use (fleet and energy generation)
2024 – working on all coolant being nonethylene glycol based and plant based lubricants – a world first
2024 – design phase of bio-fuel enhancement 2025/26 – aim for further decreased CO2 footprint through options on: hybrid EV, alternative fuelling and increased efficiency of ICE power plants.

Brand partnering
Running a Rally Raid team takes commitment, focus and the right associated partners –
Key to partnering is a belief in what we’re trying to achieve from a sustainability perspective and a sense of joint desire and achievement.
At ProRaidUK we can accommodate various levels of desired investment. From senior level premium sponsorship with a financial cash component to product only placement and technical support.
Moving into 2025 and beyond, with heightened transition investment costs, we are looking for additional partners to optimise performance whilst delivering our people and planet goals.
Customisation: ProRaidUK can provide customised packages from modest brand representation on vehicles and team clothing to a named sponsor full re-brand.
We also offer and deliver bespoke events (RHS – training with sponsors), experiences and even inclusion in team races – whatever your funding appetite there is a level we can work to.

Partnering - a different metric
As well as standard considerations and measures in brand visibility we pride ourselves on non-traditional pro-social visibility and outcomes
The photo on the RHS shows team members handing out welfare packs on the 2019 Carta Rallye.
Opportunities, like this and wider in-country engagement as well as domestic projects, school visits and military charity support offer an alternative opportunity to show case your support with us. These typically have a smaller direct audience, but with good PR activation make for a really meaningful community engagement and communicate our joint pro-social profile.
This aspect is really important to the team - We have a number planned and would be delighted to discuss in more detail
