Prophet Magaya’s Philanthropic Work

Prophet Walter Magaya is one of the most celebrated prophets in Zimbabwe.

He is the founder of Prophetic Healing Deliverance Ministries (PHD) – a Biblebased ministry, which came into existence after Prophet W. Magaya, visited SCOAN, Nigeria.

Prophet Walter Magaya is also greatly known for his philanthropic work, which has made a difference to the lives of many. Some of the examples are given below: Helping Sick People Prophet Magaya donated USD $18, 000 to Studio 263 actress, Pretty Xaba, so that she could travel to India to receive health care for a cancer-related aliment.

Hope for Orphanages

Magaya never misses out on any chance to help orphanages. His contribution towards building children's homes, old people's homes and clinics is quite praise-worthy.

Encouraging Small Businesses He has also credited local informal traders, vendors, and even musicians by inviting them to perform at his church.

Donation to Zimbabwe’s National Soccer Team On 13 May 2015, Prophet Magaya donated $56,000 to the Zimbabwe National Soccer Team ahead of its COSAFA games in South Africa after the country's main football organisation, ZIFA, could not raise enough money to pay for the trip to South Africa.

Players were requested by ZIFA to attend Magaya’s church session and at the church service, the Prophet prayed for them.

On 12 June 2015, Prophet Magaya once again paid for the men's national soccer team's expenses by paying their outstanding allowances and committed to pay for travel expenses to Malawi for their AFCON 2017 qualifier match.

Along with this, he also sponsored National Women's Soccer team following the team's financial challenges.
