Dear Property Professional,
I hope you’ve had a productive autumn and are gearing up for a strong finish to the year. With the recent Bank of England inflation rate at 1.7%, we’ve already seen one interest rate reduction, fueling optimism for further cuts. However, the possibility of another rate reduction before year-end now seems less certain following the UK Budget.
At PropertyPal and Propertynews, we’ve been busy integrating both platforms’ technologies to enhance their overall performance. On the front end, our recent updates include a refreshed key information section, enriched by new data integrations, and an improved homepage design to better showcase newly added properties. We’ve also made changes following our decision to end our affiliation with mortgage services, removing it from the navigation and we’re working on a new financial services promotion feature for agents. Further information will be provided on this shortly.
Over the past two months, our agent engagement initiative has taken us across Northern Ireland, meeting agents face-to-face. We’ve expanded our customer accounts team and will continue these visits, finding new ways to connect with you and ensure your feedback is heard.
We are also excited to announce the launch of several new features, including an innovative NI house prices section and improved mapping for our popular school search tool. We have also released a revamped section that houses educational content and information for home searchers. Plus, both platforms now offer a new premier listing solution, providing a direct rebate to agent members - a highly requested feature we are pleased to have introduced in November
Lastly, I’m immensely proud of our team’s contributions to the Simon Community’s recent One Big Sleep Out event, raising awareness and much-needed funds for homelessness in Northern Ireland. I encourage you to explore their latest research on this critical issue.
Thank you for your continued support and I wish you a prosperous end to the year.
Warm regards,
Jordan Buchanan CEO, PropertyPal
We are pleased to announce that agents on a Membership Plan will benefit from a revenue sharing scheme for Premier Listings booked by vendors. They will receive a 20% rebate, from the revenue of each booked Premier Listing which started from 1st November.
Additionally, estate agent members will receive a £50 monthly credit for enhanced advertising products (Premier Listing, Feature Listing, Premier Boost) during the first six months.
For further information on the benefits of Tiered Membership, contact Roisin O’Prey at partnerships@propertypal.com.
We’ve also made updates so that with a single Premier Listing booking, your advert now appears on both PropertyPal and Propertynews, maximising audience reach and lead potential. All agents will benefit from a 20% discount of the retail price of a Premier Listing when booked on account.
Extend your advert visibility with our new Premier Boost. After the initial four boosts, you can schedule two additional boosts to place your advert at the top of search results.

As mentioned in our previous newsletter, improvements have been made to the NI House Prices section on the property details pages, along with a dedicated NI House Prices page. What % commission will agents earn on each Vendor Premier Booking?
It’s been a year since we launched our userfriendly filter that helps house hunters find properties eligible for Co-Ownership. This innovative tool has been embraced by thousands of users each month, significantly driving referral traffic to the Co-Ownership website.
Glynis Hobson, Director of Customer Services at Co-Ownership, remarked,
“We are delighted with the success of our partnership with PropertyPal. The filter has not only increased awareness of Co-Ownership as an alternative option for potential homeowners, but also highlights available homes to our customers, helping people along their home buying journey.”
We were thrilled to attend and sponsor the Belfast Telegraph Property Awards, celebrating outstanding achievements in the property industry. Congratulations to all the nominees and winners on your well deserved recognition!
We’re also proud to share that we received a Highly Commended award in the AIB Business Eye Awards for Small Business of the Year!
Simon Community One Big Sleep Out
Our team took part in #OneBIGSleepOut24, raising £2,000 in support of our charity partner Simon Community. With 1 in 33 people in Northern Ireland classified as homeless, including 5,000 children, it was a powerful experience, highlighting the daily challenges faced by many.
