Getting to Anguilla DESTINATION GUIDE
There are a few ways you can
get to Anguilla:
By Sea

Private Boat & Shared Boat
Calypso Charters
Duration: The boat ride is approximately 25 – 30 minutes
Arrival into Sint Maarten:After clearing immigration and collecting your luggage, you will be met at the exit by an agent with a “Calypso Charters” sign.You will then be escorted to the complimentary shuttle to transport you to the dock located 5 minutes from the airport.
Shared/Semi-Private Boat Cost:
USD $75 adult / USD $40 child each way. (3-11 yrs.)
Children under 2 years are free.
This can be booked in advance and paid for through Properties in Paradise.
Private Boat Cost:
Starts at USD $500 each way for the first 4 passengers, $50 for each additional passenger.

TRANSPORTATION BYSEA
Public Ferry
The public ferry operates from the French side of St. Martin, Marigot.
Once you exit the airport terminal, you’ll need to take a 15-minute taxi ride to Marigot from the airport which is located on the Dutch side of St. Maarten.
The public ferry tickets cannot be pre-booked and must be paid for in cash on the ferry.

Arrival
Arriving in Anguilla
After arriving inAnguilla and clearing immigration, a member of our team will greet you outside–please look for the representative holding the “Properties in Paradise” sign.
After meeting you, they will escort you to the representative for your taxi service/rental car.They will then see you again at your villa to check you in, introduce you to the staff, and give you a tour of the property.

Anguilla is just 16 miles long with 33 beautiful white sandy beaches and lots to explore. We’d be more than happy to book a rental with one of our trusted partners.They will deliver to the ferry port, airport or to your villa.

About Anguilla DESTINATION GUIDE
Currency, ATMs & Cash Recommendations
-The national currency ofAnguilla is XCD (Eastern Caribbean Dollars), however, USD (United States Dollars) is primarily used throughout the island.
-ATMs are available at various locations on the island, but please note that withdrawal fees may apply.
- Whilst cards are widely accepted as a payment method, we also suggest traveling with cash for tips, and/or possible locations that may not have card facilities.
Tipping
While tipping is not required, it is customary to offer a gratuity of around 5% of the base rental rate, based on the guest’s overall satisfaction.
Weather
Anguilla enjoys two beautiful seasons — dry and wet. Sun-filled days are the norm, with the occasional shower adding a refreshing touch to the island’s charm. Should the rain appear, feel free to ask your concierge about in-villa experiences for you to enjoy!
Dress Code
