Since Lord Muruga married his first spouse Devasena at this spot, Hindus consider this Muruga sanctuary favorable for relationships. The Muruga sanctuary was developed by Viswakarma, the awesome stone carver. The specialty of the temple is its 48 columns and the way that the deepest altar is cut from a solitary stone.
