The world´s largest Viking house. More than 1000 years ago, a whealty and powerful Viking Chieftain ruled Lofotr. He lived in the largest Viking house that has been found in the world of the Vikings. The Viking Chieftain´s house has been reconstructed in it´s full size: impressive 83 meters long. Come inside and travel 1000 years back in time. Smell the tar and smoke. Study arts and crafts, demonstrations by skilled craftspeople. Feel the atmosphere in the large, wooden house. Visitors may also enjoy Viking style meals, row the Viking ship and take part in Viking activities.
