Nearly half of teachers believe that schools are either not allocating enough budget to technology, or are investing in the wrong things.

Teachers recognise technology’s ability to make their lives easier. Despite the potential for automation, they are not overly concerned that their roles will be made redundant.

Teachers believe that technology is a necessary part of everyday life and this should be reflected in lessons. Under 1% of teachers think there is no place for technology in the classroom.

However, budgetary pressures are already having a significant impact on the use of edtech; many fear that technology could become less prevalent in cash-starved schools.
