Il Sito Espositivo di Expo Milano 2015 rappresenta e sviluppa il Tema dell’evento Nutrire il Pianeta, Energia per la Vita. Al suo interno si trovano il Padiglione Italia, Lake Arena, Open Air Theater, Collina Mediterranea, Cascina Triulza, Food & Beverage, i Padiglioni Self-built che ospitano i Paesi partecipanti e le Aree Corporate che ospitano le aziende.
Exhibition Site Expo 2015 represents and develops the theme of the event “Feeding the Planet, Energy for Life”. Inside you will find the Italian Pavilion, Lake Arena, Open Air Theater, Mediterranean Hill, Cascina Triulza - Civil Society Pavillion, Food & Beverage and Self-built Pavilions housing the participating countries and Corporate Hospitality Areas.
Partecipano all’esposizione 145 Paesi, 3 Organizzazioni Internazionali (Onu, Unione Europa, Carribean Community), 13 Organizzazioni della Società Civile (ActionAid, Alliance2015/Cesvi, Caritas, Famiglia Salesiana DBN/Vis, Fairtrade International, Fondazione Triulza, Inter Press Service, Lions Clubs International, Oxfam, Save the Children, WWF, WAA-AMIA/Conaf, Eso/Onda) e 5 Padiglioni Corporate (China Corporate United Pavilion, Kip International School, New Hollande Agriculture, Vanke, Joomoo, Federalimentare, Coca Cola). Il sito occupa circa 1 milione di metri quadri e il progetto si sviluppa su due assi ortogonali, che richiamano il Cardo e il Decumano della città romana.
Participating in the exhibition 145 countries, three international organizations (The United Nation, European Union, Carribean Community), 13 Civil Society Organizations (ActionAid, Alliance2015/Cesvi, Caritas, Famiglia Salesiana DBN/Vis, Fairtrade International, Fondazione Triulza, Lions Clubs International, Oxfam, Save the Children, WWF, WAA-AMIA/Conaf, Eso/ Onda) and 5 Corporate Pavilions (China United Corporate Pavilion, Kip International School, New Hollande Agriculture, Vanke, Joomoo, Federalimentare, Coca Cola). The site occupies about 1 million square meters and the project is developed on two orthogonal axes, which recall the Cardo and the Decumano of the Roman city.
I Cluster sono una delle novità di Expo Milano 2015: per la prima volta i Paesi vengono raggruppati in padiglioni collettivi secondo criteri di identità tematiche. I Cluster sono caratterizzati da aree comuni, che sviluppano, attraverso spazi funzionali (mercato, mostra, eventi, degustazioni) la filiera alimentare. Ogni Paese presente nei Cluster ha uno spazio espositivo individuale, dove sviluppa la sua interpretazione del tema. I Cluster sono: Riso-Abbondanza e sicurezza, Caffè-l’energia delle idee, Frutta e legumi, Il mondo delle spezie, Cereali e tuberivecchie e nuove colture, BioMediterraneo-salute, bellezza e armonia, Isole mare e cibo, L’agricoltura e l’alimentazione delle zone aride. Le Aree Tematiche sono i luoghi fisici che interpretano il Tema Nutrire il Pianeta, Energia per la Vita attraverso percorsi espositivi ed elementi attrattivi: coinvolgono direttamente i visitatori e diventano l’occasione per un’esperienza sensoriale ed educativa. Sono sviluppate da prestigiosi curatori internazionali e si trovano agli ingressi principali e in altri punti chiave del Sito Espositivo. Le Aree Tematiche sono: Padiglione Zero, Future Food District, Children Park, Biodiversity Park, Arts & Foods.
One of the key attractions of Expo Milano 2015, and a first in terms of Universal Expositions, the Clusters bring together communities, not by geographical area, but by a common theme and food group. Clusters are characterized by areas that develop, through functional spaces (market, shows, events, tastings) the food chain. Every country present in the Cluster has an indivudual exhibition, where it developed its interpretation of the theme. The Clusters are Rice – Abundance and Security, Coffee – the Engine of Ideas, Cocao and Chocolate – the Food of Gods, Cereals and Tubers – Old and New Crops, Fruits and Legumes, The World of Spices, Agriculture and Nutrition in Arid Zones, Islands, Sea, and Food, Bio-Mediterraneum - Health, Beauty and Harmony. The Thematic Areas are the physical places that interpret the theme Feeding the Planet, Energy for Life through exhibition routes and attractive elements: directly involving visitors and become the occasion for a sensory experience and educational. Developed by prestigious international curators they are located at the main entrances and other key points of the Expo Site. The thematic areas are: Pavilion Zero, Future Food District, Children Park, Biodiversity Park, Arts & Foods.

WHERE YOU CAN BUY TICKETS
L’Esposizione universale sarà aperta dal 1° maggio 2015 al 31 ottobre 2015 dalle ore 10 alle ore 23. Uno dei modi più semplici per acquistare un biglietto d’ingresso per l’Esposizione Universale è attraverso la sezione dedicata sul sito ufficiale www.expo2015.org. In alternativa i biglietti possono essere acquistati presso Expo Gate (Piazza Cairoli, Milano) o i rivenditori autorizzati (chiedi l’elenco all’Infopoint). I prezzi dei biglietti acquistati prima del 1° maggio sono: € 32 data aperta, € 27 data fissa. I prezzi dei biglietti acquistati dopo il 1° maggio sono: € 39 data aperta, € 34 data fissa. Sul sito www.expo2015.org sono descritte tutte le tipologie di biglietto e le formule speciali, in alternativa chiedi l’elenco all’Infopoint. Il biglietto di ingresso standard comprende l’accesso a tutti i Padiglioni e ai numerosi eventi del programma giornaliero e serale, con l'eccezione dello spettacolo ALLAVITA! del Cirque du Soleil che si terrà presso l'Open Air Theatre all'interno di Expo Milano 2015 dal mercoledì alla domenica da metà maggio a fine agosto e per il quale è previsto un biglietto a parte. Il biglietto per l’ingresso all’Esposizione Universale include anche un ingresso alla Triennale di Milano Viale Alemagna 6, per visitare l’Area Tematica Arts & Foods a partire dal 10 aprile 2015.
Expo Milano 2015 is the Universal Exhibition that Milan, Italy, will host from May 1 to October 31, 2015 form 10 to 23. One of the easiest ways to buy tickets for Expo Milano 2015 is via the relevant section on the official website www.expo2015.org. Tickets can also be purchased at Expo Gate (Piazza Cairoli, downtown Milan) or from an authorized reseller (ask the list at Infopoint).

The prices of tickets purchased before May 1 are: € 32 open date, € 27 fixed date. The prices of tickets purchased after May 1 are: € 39 open date, € 34 fixed date. On the official website www.expo2015.org you can find all types of ticket and special formulas, alternatively ask Infopoint the list. The standard ticket includes access to all the pavilions and the many events of the daily program and evening, with the exception of the show ALLAVITA! By Cirque du Soleil to be held at the Open Air Theatre in Expo Milano 2015 from Wednesday to Sunday from mid-May to late August and for which there is a separate ticket. The ticket for entry to the Universal Exhibition also includes an entrance to the Triennale di Milano-Viale Alemagna, 6 to visit the Thematic Area Arts & Foods from April 10, 2015 .

HOW TO REACH EXPO 2015
Il Sito Espositivo di Expo Milano 2015 è situato a Nord-Ovest di Milano.
The Expo Milano 2015 Exposition Site is located just north-west of Milan.
CON IL TRENO E’ sufficiente seguire le indicazioni per la stazione di Rho Fiera Milano. Il tempo di percorrenza previsto per raggiungere il Sito Espositivo è di circa 15 minuti dalla Stazione Centrale e 19 minuti dalla Stazione Garibaldi. Le linee suburbane S5-S6 in transito da Treviglio e la S14 da Rogoredo collegheranno direttamente Rho Fiera con le stazioni milanesi del Passante, la linea S11 servirà invece chi proviene da Monza, Seregno, Como; nella stazione di Rho Fiera inoltre fermeranno tutti i treni delle linee regionali da Arona, Domodossola, Varese e Torino. Sarà possibile raggiungere Rho Fiera Milano con un unico biglietto valido sia sulla rete Atm, sia sulla rete Trenord, Passante Ferroviario compreso. Da Treviglio a Rho Fiera Expo 9,60 € A/R (corsa adulto passante suburbano Trenord). Da Milano città: 5,00 € A/R fino Rho Fiera Milano Expo 2015: valido a Milano e sulla tratta Milano-Rho Fiera su metropolitana, bus, filobus, tram, treni (ATM e Trenord) per 2 viaggi di 105’ (andata e ritorno in giornata). Consente un solo ingresso in metro e stazioni ferroviarie per ogni viaggio; 8,00 € giornaliero fino a Rho Fiera Milano Expo 2015: valido per viaggiare tutto il giorno sui mezzi di superficie, metropolitana e treni di Trenord. Per chi arriva da fuori Milano: 10 € "Area Grande EXPO" giornaliero valido su tutti i mezzi ATM e Trenord (metropolitana, bus, filobus, tram, treni) per viaggiare 1 giorno a Milano e fuori Milano fino alle stazioni di: Cassano D’Adda, Carnate, Cernusco-Merate, Villa Raverio, Camnago, Meda, Saronno, Rescaldina, Legnano, Magenta, Abbiategrasso, Villamaggiore, Lodi; 13 € “1 Day Pass TUTTO TRENO” giornaliero valido su tutta la rete ferroviaria regionale, viaggi in 2a classe escluso il Malpensa Express; 45 € “5 Day Pass + A/R Aeroporto - TUTTO TRENO” valido per viaggiare 5 giorni sui treni regionali e suburbani di Trenord in 2a classe, compreso viaggio A/R dall’aeroporto di Malpensa. BY TRAIN To reach the Exposition Site by train from either Stazione Centrale or Stazione Garibaldi, simply follow the signs for Rho Fiera Milano station. Expected travel-time is about 15 minutes from Stazione Centrale and 19 minutes from Stazione Garibaldi. From Milan, the suburban services S5 and S6 (originating from Treviglio) as well as S14 (originating in Rogoredo) of the passante service, stop at Rho Fiera Milano, while passengers from Monza, Seregno, and Como can take line S11. Regional train services from Arona, Domodossola, Varese, and Turin will also stop at Rho Fiera Milano station. A number of combined and integrated tickets are available by public transport. From Treviglio to Rho Fiera Expo 9,60 € A/R (corsa adulto passante suburbano Trenord). Within Milan city area: 5,00 € return ticket to Rho Fiera; 8,00 € 1 day travel card (urban trains included). Outside Milan city area: 10,00 € "Area Grande EXPO" 1-day travel card including stations of Cassano d'Adda, Carnate, Cernusco-Merate, Villa Raverio, Camnago-Lentate, Meda, Saronno, Rescaldina, Legnano, Magenta, Abbiategrasso, Villamaggiore, Lodi; 13 € “1 Day Pass TUTTO TRENO” 1 day pass for trains and subway to Rho-Fiera; 45 € “5 Day Pass + A/R Aeroporto - TUTTO TRENO” 5 days pass for the entire railway in Lombardy, and return ticket to Malpensa airport by Malpensa Express. Fiera Milano tickets are available from authorized retailers, ATM POINT, ticket TRENORD AND TRENITALIA and ticket machines in stations and subway stations.
CON L’AEREO Gli scali di Linate, Malpensa e Orio al Serio hanno la stessa distanza dal Sito Espositivo e mettono a disposizione dei viaggiatori delle navette per raggiungere il centro della città. In alternativa: *Se arrivi a Malpensa dal terminal 1 con Mxp Express arrivi in 40’ a Milano Garibaldi e ogni 7’ c’è un treno delle linee suburbane S5, S6, S14 oppure a Cadorna la linea M1 per Rho Fiera. *Se arrivi a Linate ATM linea urbana 73 per Milano Piazza San Babila M1 per Rho Fiera (Prima corsa: 05.35 Ultima corsa: 00.35, corse ogni 10 minuti, tutti i giorni, costo biglietto: 1,5 €), oppure ATM linea urbana X73 linea diretta con unica fermata intermedia a Piazza Tricolore per Milano Piazza San Babila linea M1 per Rho Fiera (Prima corsa: 07.00 Ultima corsa: 20.00, costo biglietto: 1,5 €, corse ogni 20 minuti dal lunedì al venerdì); bus per Porta Vittoria e S5, S6 o S14 per Rho Fiera. *Se arrivi a Orio Al Serio linea 1 ATB per Bergamo, corse ogni 20’ per stazione ferroviaria di Bergamo, poi treno regionale per Treviglio e S5 o S6 per Milano Rho Fiera, oppure treno per Milano Centrale, M3 per Repubblica e treni suburbani per Rho Fiera (S5,S6 o S14). CON LA METROPOLITANA Per raggiungere il Sito Espositivo con la metropolitana è possibile utilizzare la linea 1 e seguire le indicazioni per la stazione di Rho Fiera Milano. La linea 1 transita per le stazioni di Duomo, Cadorna e si interconnette con tutte le altre linee metropolitane. Il tempo di percorrenza previsto è di circa 25 minuti da Piazza Duomo, 35 minuti dalla Stazione Centrale, 20 minuti dalla Stazione Cadorna e 30 minuti dalla Stazione Garibaldi. È’ necessario munirsi di biglietto extraurbano.
BY PLANE The Linate, Malpensa and Orio al Serio airports are all the same distance from the Exposition Site and offer shuttle bus services into downtown Milan. Alternatively: *From Maplensa (MXP) airport you can take: - Malpensa Express train to Cadorna and M1 to Rho-Fiera; - Malpensa Express train to P.ta Garibaldi and S5 or S6 or S14 to Rho-Fiera. *From Linate (LIN) airport you can take: - bus to P.ta Vittoria and S5 to Varese or S6 to Novara or S14 to Rho; - bus to S. Babila and M1 to Rho-Fiera. *From Bergamo Orio al Serio (BGY) airport you can take: - bus line 1 ATB to Bergamo, train to Treviglio and S5 to Varese or S6 to Novara, with stop at Rho-Fiera; - train to Milano Central Station, M3 to Repubblica then suburban services to Rho Fiera (S5, S6, S14). BY UNDERGROUND RAILWAY To reach the Exposition Site by underground purchase an extra-urban ticket, and take M1 to Rho Fiera Milano station. Duomo and Cadorna are on Line 1, where they connect to the city’s other underground lines. Travel time to the expo site is expected to be about 25 minutes from Piazza Duomo, 20 minutes from Stazione Cadorna, 35 minutes from Stazione Centrale, and 30 minutes from Stazione Garibaldi.
