ADP programs in Malaysia usually have a credit-transfer option, which means that you can transfer to a university overseas (typically in the USA or Canada) to finish your degree after studying anywhere between 1 – 2 years in Malaysia. Most students will transfer to universities in the USA to complete their degree.
With credit transfers, you can transfer to an American university of your choice to complete your degree

International Baccalaureate (or its full name, International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme, sometimes known as IBDP or just IB) is a PreUniversity program from Geneva, Switzerland.
It prepares SPM or O-Level leavers for entry into a degree at university (hence the word, pre).

Interviews can be daunting as it is where future employers assess your suitability for their company. Whether it is an interview for a scholarship, internship or even a job, being prepared for an interview can help you feel calm and confident on the day and ensure that you can answer the questions you'll likely be asked.
This is why proper preparation is the key to putting on a good performance and convey that you are a perfect fit for them. The chart below shows preparation tips throughout a general timeline; from the moment the interview has been confirmed to a day before the interview So, let's explore more in this booklet ~
"A formal meeting in which one or more persons question, consult or evaluate another person."
(noun)
Tell me about yourself.
Take this as a refresher or overview of your key skills and experience, but be careful not to simply read from your resume Talk about what you have done instead of just stating your skills. Tip: Make it interesting!
Describe yourself in 3 words. Choose words that are positive, professional, and easy to understand.
You will want to select the words that describe your personality, working style, and priorities in the very best light like hardworking, patient, learner, analytical, etc
The easiest way is to look for adjectives listed in the job/scholarship ad and use those adjectives to describe you!
What are your greatest weaknesses?
The best way to tackle this common interview question is to first choose a genuine weakness that you are working on making better.
Example: "I am an introvert but I am working on being more friendly and outgoing by joining more clubs and societies to improve my social skills."
This way, you are backing your weakness up with an example of how you have been improving this flaw including the results achieved so far These examples can be drawn from all areas of your life whether it was from your summer paid placement, volunteering activities, or even during your university studies
What are your greatest strengths?
Back up your chosen strength with an example of how you demonstrated this, highlighting parts you’ve been proud of while at university, school or in outside volunteering
For example, you can say “I am a highly organised person because back in uni I have organised major events such as the “Financial Literacy Workshop” which had over 100 participants and ran smoothly.”
Use your own example!!
They want to understand the steps you took, the skills you drew upon and any obstacles you had to overcome to reach your accomplishment
The key is to present your answer through the STAR method, which offers a succinct structure to follow and will prevent you from going off-piste.
“
What makes you unique?” actually translates to “What skills, qualities and experiences make you the best candidate for this job?”
By asking this question, employers are inviting you to brag about yourself and your best qualities and tell them what differentiates you from other graduate candidates
This is your chance to list the things that make you the very best candidate – so it’s important to think about 1 or 2 key things (this could be specific skills, qualifications, volunteering, work experience, or otherwise) that you know, not every candidate will have
The chance to ask questions at the end of your interview is your opportunity to find out details of the role you've been dying to know.
It is always a good idea to plan your interview questions to ask interviewers, to ensure you sound interested and keen to learn more about the company/scholarship you're interviewing at.
This is where your preparations would pay off. Good research about the organisation will help you to answer this question. You can’t know everything about an company from the outside, but it’s important to know the basics.
The interviewer will expect you to know about their:
Industry/sector. Goals.
Key challenges. Major competitors. Culture and values.
You can usually find these on their websites so don’t skip them!
- can be applied when answering behavioral interview questions -
Behavioral interview questions can be difficult to answer as they are open-ended and you may not know where to start. It is a popular approach to assess a candidate’s past experiences and judge his/her response to similar situations on a future job.
For example:
‘Describe a project where one of your teammates was not pulling his weight What did you do?’
In behavioral interviewing, every answer should specifically address the skill in question. Talk about your experiences from a previous job assignment, project, academic study, or community work. You can structure your answer using the four steps of the ‘STAR’ technique.
In answering interview questions, the best way to impress an interviewer is to discuss your credentials and accomplishments in terms of personal success stories.
By following this simple technique, you can narrate direct, meaningful, personalized experiences that best demonstrate your qualifications. Let's take a look to the example!
I was working as an intern for an wedding company, and I was responsible for ordering flowers for a wedding hosted by very important customers. Unfortunately, I mixed up the information from another event, and the flowers were delivered to the wrong venue on the other side of town.
I took this very seriously and knew I needed to find a solution quickly as we were working on a tight deadline.
After considering a few different ways to resolve the issue I admitted my mistake to my boss, informed them of my plan and why I thought it was the best course of action I took an early lunch break, drove to the other venue, picked up the flowers and delivered them to the appropriate venue an hour before the event.
The customer never knew about my mistake, and my boss was very grateful
Pro Tips: Just be confident and genuine when answering the interview questions.
Wish you the best of luck for your future interviews!
"Tell me about the time you made a mistake."
