In celebration of Laura Ashley’s 70th anniversary, an eagerly anticipated relaunch is set to reintroduce the exquisite decorative fabric ranges back into the Australian and New Zealand markets. These thoughtfully curated selections are the fruit of a remarkable collaboration between Basford Brands and the talented Laura Ashley team in London. While staying true to the classic British charm that Laura Ashely is renowned for, the ranges have been developed for our unique Antipodean lifestyle, offering a fresh perspective for the first time.

Laura Ashley is synonymous with undeniably elegant patterns and designs and all things beautiful and decorative. The 7 new collections featured are no exception, with signature prints, sumptuous jacquards and delicate embroideries. As part of the collections, we have developed two coordinating plain fabrics to serve as a foundation, coloured to work across all collections, tying together the elements with their understated elegance.
Camerton
Camerton plain combines the soft, supple handfeel of a brushed chenielle cloth with the durability of 30,000 martindale rubs, making it perfect for drapery and upholstery applications alike.
Newbury Stonewash
Newbury Stonewash sheer offers a sophisticated yarn-dyed linen sheer option, blending effortlessly with decorative designs. The tumbled stonewash finish creates a luxurious fullness to the drape across the 300cm continuous width.

Featuring chinoiserie inspired florals and birds, Eglantine Silhouette combines the beauty of an English country garden with a touch of French provincial charm.
Pussy Willow is a classic Laura Ashley design, inspired by an antique wallpaper from the Laura Ashley archive. Reminiscent of the first days of early Spring, this Pussy Willow sprig design brings a touch of the outside in. Pussy Willow is embroidered on a 100% linen sheer base cloth to offer the ultimate in luxury interiors.

Gosford is a signature Laura Ashley print featuring gorgeous bold parrot tulips. Gosford was originally inspired by a magnificent antique painted artwork in the Laura Ashley archive. Featuring a striking watercolour design with botanical style with beautifully painted peony flowers, Wisley is an instant classic. Peonies is beautiful floral watercolour design shows delicate trails of dramatic & full bloomed peony flowers, set on a dramatic black background to really elevate and highlight the artistry of the print.
