The Spa Village at is set in a tropical garden at 3900 ft. (1200 meters) elevation, with a breathtaking view of the Central Valley. The treatments are known to be some of the best in Costa Rica with all Natural Ingredients. generously by nature in this particularly rich and diverse country. Each of our five private, palm-roofed jalapas has its own hot tub and massage table, where you can enjoy one of our many treatment options, from scrubs to massages. The special feature is your own palm - roofed jalapa with an open-air jacuzzi, perched on a hill overlooking the Central Valley.

We recommend you to enjoy your spa experience to the fullest, relax in the jacuzzi before your treatment. Also, Yoga sessions are readily available in the studio.

Resort and Spa is a piece of paradise in Costa Rica, brought alive by vibrant art, sculpture, attentive design, green thumbed gardeners and services provided by the local community that surrounds the resort.

Art and architecture are highlights of the experience in Costa Rica, 24 spacious open plan villas nestled on 16 hectares. Each is a unique design, with tropical colors and contemporary design. The property is surrounded by lush gardens, with terraces facing spectacular views of Costa Rica’s majestic Central Valley day and night.

A private forest reserve with rivers, five natural waterfalls, and 2.5 miles of trails offers excellent hiking, birding, and communion with nature. Three pools, each Views of the Central valley, provide added incentive for a morning swim. Or, start your day in our Yoga studio and save your swim for later at our sunset pool. Wide range of natural treatments are offered in private jalapas at the Spa Village, each featuring a hot-tub overlooking forest and valley at 3,900 ft.

We have many birds and butterfly species living free at ,intriguing bird songs fill the air from dawn to dusk, over 140 species of both resident Costa Rican and migratory North American bird species that have been reported on our eBird hotspot, we offer to our guest a Top 100 of birds, and a Bird Watching tour can be arranged.

CONSERVATION Our aim is to reduce the environmental impact of Xandari more and more each year, and to protect the nature reserve. is pretty good at the basics, with a comprehensive recycling program; waste byproducts being composted and used to fertilize our gardens; fruits and vegetables grown organically on-site; and it is used at the restaurant. The Certification in Sustainable Tourism (CST) program has awarded for our efforts to be environmentally, culturally and socially responsible and we get especially high marks for our efforts to get our guests involved with our community in the CST program.

We have some programs to make the guest part of the change in habits of sustainability like “Plant-a-Tree Program” is a way for guests, employees, children and neighbors to contribute to reforestation. provides a tree, and an individual, couple, family or group carefully plants it, with a staff member’s help or guidance.

A marker by the tree is a lasting reminder of who planted that tree and when. We’ve found that the act of planting a tree makes people feel part of a larger movement,
