The Munich based Leonardo Group GMBH, one of the European market leaders in lean and sustainable consulting and organisation has invested in a training centre, which will be located on the campus of the Vietnamese-German- University (VGU) in Ho-Chi-Minh-City.

Together with the co-operation partner on the spot, the “Chair of Assembly Technology and Factory Management of the Technische Universität Berlin”, the project will be integrated in training, research and development for lean and green production and management at the VGU. During the two-year initial phase start Vietnamese engineers and industrial executives will be trained as trainers and consultants. Private and state run companies would like to strengthen their efficiency and sustainability in a competitive ASEAN market. These are exactly the objectives of the project and the level of ambition considering the further development of Vietnam. The competence-centre lean and green production at the Vietnamese-German University VGU was supported by the DEG and co-financed with public funds from the Federal Ministry of Economic Cooperation and Development. The opening ceremony will take place at the Vietnamese - German University on December 6,2014.

Rate Card Lean and green production and consulting are the main topics of a special issue of „international promotion“ PR-magazine in English language. The issuance will be as e-zine and printed magazine on November 30, 2014, one week before the opening of the Vietnamese - German Training Centre for lean and green production at VGU Vietnamese-German-University Ho Chi Minh City. A second top issue is industry 4.0 - potentials and limits in the ASEAN countries. Basic information is also provided in the field of infrastructure, development of efficient management procedures in industry and for example in the health sector. The competence-centre lean and green production at the Vietnamese-German University VGU was supported by the DEG and co-financed with public funds from the Federal Ministry of Economic Cooperation and Development. The objectives for the next two years are the training of trainers and consultants in order to reorganise efficient production in private and especially state-runned enterprise. This will have generally a positive and sustainable impact for the development of Vietnam.
