1 Tbs Sugar 2 ¼ Tsp. packet active dry yeast 3 Tbs extra virgin olive oil 3 ¾ cups all purpose flour 1 ½ Tsp. Salt Tomato sauce of choice—homemade or jar.

Pre-heat the oven to 500 degrees F. Whisk 1 1/3 cups warm water and the sugar in a bowl and add the yeast on top, set aside for around 10 minutes then add olive oil Whisk flour and salt, make a well in the center of the flour and pour in the yeast mixture, stir with a spoon.

Set the dough on a lightly floured surface and knead about 5 minutes, you can add more flour if you need to. Then split the dough into smaller balls (we usually do 2) and coat each with oil then cover with plastic wrap and set aside until its about twice the size.

Roll out the dough, or you can cut it into smaller portions to make smaller pizzas.

Once you have your dough rolled out top with sauce, cheese and other toppings of your choice. o I top my pizza with ricotta cheese, spinach, and black olives and sometimes mushrooms and green peppers :) Place pizza on pizza stone and cook for around 10 minutes for thin and crispy pizza.

B.L.T. Pizza Family Recipe Ingredients: ● 1 pre-baked 12 inch pizza crust (or make your own homemade) ● 2 teaspoons dried basil

● ½ teaspoon garlic powder

● 12 pieces of bacon strips cooked and crumbled ● 1 ½ cups of shredded lettuce

● ½ cup mayonnaise ● ⅛ teaspoon onion powder

● ¾ cup of shredded part skim mozzarella cheese ● 2 medium tomatoes thinly sliced

Directions: *Preheat oven at 425 degrees* • • • • •

1. Place crust on a 12 inch ungreased pizza pan.

2. In a small bowl, combine mayo, basil, garlic powder, onion powder in a small bowl. Then spread over the crust.

3. Set aside ¼ cup of crumbled bacon. Sprinkle remaining bacon and mozzarella cheese over the crust.

4. Bake pizza at 425 degrees for 8-12 mins or until the cheese is melted.

5. After the pizza is taken out of the oven, garnish with the lettuce and tomato. Enjoy!

Roasted Smashed Potatoes

Great Grandma Ginder’s Chocolate Pie

Recipe Crust: 15 Graham Crackers crushed (should be about 1 cup) ¼ cup butter, melted ½ cup brown sugar Mix the above and press into a 9-inch pan Bake 1 minute at 350 degrees Let cool Filling: 30 marshmallows (large), or 300 (small) 2 oz. unsweetened chocolate ½ cup milk 8 oz. cool whip, thawed Heat marshmallows, unsweetened chocolate, and milk until dissolved Let cool Fold in cool whip Pour into crust Chill and enjoy

Lemon Cookies Mix together the flour, baking powder, and salt, and then beat the eggs and sugar together. Then we add, oil, cream, lemon extract and lemon zests, and we mix all of that together until it is all combined into one. My Nanna usually gives the dough about 20 minutes to set and will place plastic wrap on her huge bowl with a baby blanket over it as well because she believes the darkness helps it form correctly.

Once it has rose a little we cut the dough into equal size sections and we always try to get the most so usually at least 50 strips f dough that we roll out with out hands to make thin logs almost. Here comes the hard part, we have to knot it, so to knot the cookies my Nanna does it super fast and with a swift flip motion, but I usually create a circle and pull one end through creating a knot and press the excess into the bottom of the cookie. We let them bake and make the glaze while its in the oven.

To make the glaze we use powder sugar, regular cane sugar and lemon extract and form a yummy gooey substance.

Once the cookies are done we let them cool only shortly before brushing the glaze on. These are my favorite cookies my Nanna makes and she has been making them her whole life, even back in Italy with her mom and Nanna.

Shiro 1. Cut up the onions and blend it.

2. Place the blended onions in a pot.

3. Add olive oil, garlic, and jalapeño into the pot and let cook for 5-10 minutes.

4. Cut up the tomatoes and blend it.

5. Toss the blended tomatoes into the pot.

6. Add water.

Directions:

Apple Pie like Grandma Mowder’s Bake @ 375 for first 15 min then @ 350 for about 40-50 min “Mom always said it was done when it ran over in the oven!”

Peel and slice about 6 sweet Juicy apples (Jonna Golds are great)

Apples and bottom of shell ½ cup flour

½ cup sugar

¼ cup brown sugar

Cinnamon to your taste

Toss with apples until apples are coated with flour mixture the extra just goes in bottom of shell to make the gooey bottom……if none left put about a1/2 cup both flour and sugar in bottom (I usually do this to make extra gooey) of crust before apples Taste an apple to see if sweet enough...if not sprinkle another ½ cup sugar over top Pile the apples slices into crust…don’t be stingy with the apples…fill it up!

Pour over apples Half and Half or cream…about 1 cup or a bit more, until u can see some around apples.

Cut into chunks about 1 stick of margarine place on top of apples Roll out top crust, place on top...fold edges together & inward…CRIMP edges...make a HENERY to vent it(old family joke) slit to vent Sprinkle top with sugar and cinnamon Bake on a cookie sheet to prevent a mess in the oven...bake until top is golden the apple goo is bubbly takes about 50-60 min to get apples done

1 Box of Pillsbury Refrigerated Pie Crust 1/3 Cup of Butter 1/3 Cup of Chopped Onions 1/3 Cup of All-Purpose Flower 1/2 Teaspoon of Salt 1/4 Teaspoon of Pepper 1 3/4 Cups of Progresso Chicken Broth 1/2 Cup of Milk 2 1/2 Cups of Shredded Cooked Chicken 2 Cups of Frozen Mixed Veggies, Thawed

• Heat oven to 425°F. Prepare pie crusts as directed on box for TwoCrust Pie using 9-inch glass pie pan.

• In 2-quart saucepan, melt butter over medium heat.

• Add onion; cook 2 minutes, stirring frequently, until tender. Stir in flour, salt and pepper until well blended. Gradually stir in broth and milk, cooking and stirring until bubbly and thickened.

• Stir in chicken and mixed vegetables. Remove from heat. Spoon chicken mixture into crust-lined pan. Top with second crust; seal edge and flute. Cut slits in several places in top crust.

• Bake 30 to 40 minutes or until crust is golden brown. During last 15 to 20 minutes of baking, cover crust edge with strips of foil to prevent excessive browning. Let stand 5 minutes before serving.

4 eggs well beaten 2 cups of white sugar 2 cups of 35% cream (doesn’t exist in USA) 1 cup of 15% cream (doesn’t exist in USA) 1 teaspoon of salt 1 teaspoon of baking soda 2 tablespoons of cognac 3 tablespoons of baking powder 8 cups of all-purpose flour

Steps: 1. Beat the eggs separately and then slowly add sugar 2. Sift the flour, baking powder, and salt.

3. Mix the 2 creams together with cognac and baking soda 4. Add the flour/baking powder/salt mixture with all other ingredients

5. Mix all ingredients together, alternating adding the creams and the sugar 6. Cook in Crisco grease at 350F in a fryer for 2 minutes on each side 7. Serve with (lots of) powder sugar!

Directions • Cream butter and sugar. Add egg yolks and vanilla. Put the soda in the sour milk and sour cream. Add to the egg mixture.

Add the sifted dry ingredients.

• Chill well. Roll in long rolls and form into bows or pretzel shapes.
