BUILDING YOUR ENTRY PLAN TO LEAD FOR EQUITY IN EDUCATION

Creating Opportunities for All Students to Succeed

BE A LEADER OF POSITIVE CHANGE FOR YOUR SCHOOL

Education leadership transitions are notoriously difficult, with the potential to slow momentum and cause anxiety among staff members. And if you’re committed to developing human-centered policies that address inequity, the process can be even more challenging—but also rife with possibilities. To help you build trust within your community and set the stage for positive change, Harvard Graduate School of Education (HGSE) Professional Education presents Building Your Entry Plan to Lead for Equity in Education. With a structured entry plan in place, you’ll be able to listen, communicate, and lead more effectively as you empower those in your organization to advance equity.

DRIVE INNOVATION AND HIGH PERFORMANCE

This six-week, online program, based on the book Entry Planning for Equity-Focused Leaders: Empowering Schools and Communities by Jennifer Cheatham, Adam Parrott-Sheffer, and Rodney Thomas, draws on research and best practices in leadership and education. By taking part in a live coaching webinar and individual exercises, you will build a leadership entry plan that emphasizes deep listening, human-centered data analysis, and strategies for galvanizing change. Specifically, you will: • • •

• •
