TEAM PARTICIPATION REQUIREMENTS
Team participation is required for all Project Zero online courses, as it promotes a deeper and richer learning experience and will help participants sustain the use of core ideas after the course concludes. Teams are formed locally by teachers or their schools. A team can have 3 to 6 members. A school may enroll multiple teams. Team members will collaborate on most of the assignments, including the development of a project. During the course, members of a team must meet face-to-face every two weeks (once per session) in order to complete collaborative assignments. Please share this expectation with your team members and make sure they will be able to meet this requirement. If you are applying for two or more teams to participate in a course, upon acceptance, these teams will be placed in different study groups with different coaches so they can benefit from a broader range of input, discussion, and learning. Requests on moving participants from one team to another should be submitted as soon as possible, and at least two weeks prior to the start of the course. Once participants are added to the course platform, we won’t be able to make any team switches.
