Autodesk BIM 360 a Construction Management Software Autodesk BIM 360 is a cloud-based construction management platform that improves the key fundamentals of a project, its deliveries and its outcomes. It achieves this through its different modules, each module guiding the decision making throughout each different Lifecyle of the project. BIM 360 is represented by multiple different modules, these include: BIM 360 DOCs • This module is a common data environment otherwise known as a CDE which helps teams to publish, manage, review and approve all project data. This module has unlimited storage and can host a broad range of different software’s, such as all Autodesk AEC products, office 365 products etc. It is designed to deliver connected solutions and be able to manage all data from project documents to 2D plans to 3D Models.

BIM 360 Build (BIM 360 Field) • Is a module which connects the information which is being gathered in the office to the information on site. It achieves this using mobile technology on the jobsite with cloud-based collaboration.

BIM 360 Design • This module enables Revit cloud work-sharing and collaboration, which means that multiple people can work in unison. It allows all teams within the construction project to work in a common data environment where it is the single source of truth. It allows

each team to collaborate amongst each other and be able to reference the models published by each other. It also has access to the DOC’s module which means that the data can be managed, have access controls set up and have web and mobile collaboration.

BIM 360 Coordinate (BIM 360 Glue) • Some of the main features of BIM 360 Coordinate is that it enables the team to identify clashes and issues between the different disciplines within the project which means that it can resolve the errors faster and before they occur. As it is cloud based it enables its users to have anytime, anywhere access to the connected project information.

BIM 360 Layout • Provides contractors to be able to connect the coordinated model in the cloud to the field layout. It essentially provides office to field workflows.

BIM 360 Plan • This module helps establish more reliable project work plans and help to reduce waste and rework in relation to overproduction, excess inventory and materials and task rework.

BIM 360 Ops • Is a mobile first Asset and management software. It enables its users to handover the documents and models more seamlessly and gives the clients to ability begin operations straight away.
