Wednesday Walkers
In February, it rained at some point on most days, and for some periods it was continuous for several days and nights. On 5th February, it really wasn’t looking good for the Wednesday morning social walk around the different pathways of Cornwall.

We knew that Terry, one of our group leaders, is a very resourceful chap. We didn’t know he also has influence with Mariamman, the Hindu goddess of rain, because just for a few hours the rain held off, the wind abated and the sky turned azure blue. That allowed a very pleasant 2.5 hour/8km circular walk around the Trelissick estate, stopping at Roundwood Quay for our mid-point snack. Well done Terry - proper job!

An idyllic scene for the Wednesday Walkers at Roundwood Quay, on the river Fal on Wednesday 5th February. The gig is the Lady Loe, from the Truro River Rowing Club.
